Usually on a fetish site. You won’t find many experienced Doms on here that actually know what they’re talking about.
I’ve chatted to many who think they’ve Doms but they don’t have a clue.
If you’re an experienced sub you’ll eventually find what you’re looking for. They are a rare breed. |

Try F-E-T-L-I-F-E remove the dashes!
I'm not sure what the link scene is like in Scotland but in London we have the LAM London Alternative Market the frost Sunday of the month. It takes a while to find a decent Dom and one that is right for you

Agree with what you’ve said honestly.
Thanks to all the others for suggestions too. |

As said above that’s a better source. But they are a few experienced Doms on this site. After all it’s easy to tell the fakes with a few simple questions.
It takes a lot of practice and no matter how many years you do it you’re always learning. |

I echo this.
There are other sites but there are the same amount of people that are not right. D/s is personal and individual and not cookie cutter. |

I have no experience in been a Dom / Master but if I wanted to build my knowledge and seeing if I would make a Dom / Master I would perhaps look to attend a specialist club that caters for these lifestyle / events. My thinking is if I am looking for a experienced Dom / Master I may be more likely to find them in a specialist club for these events. |

Then why don't you use your experience to show them? If you want experienced doms first they need to be educated.
Use your skills to help or give advice instead of complaining they are rare do something about it. |

The only problem is that the specialist clubs that most people know of are NOT actually specialist clubs - they are too mainstream and are basically just regular clubs with a different dresscode.
The real specialist clubs are not hidden, they just don't have the same marketing/advertising.
At least thats my experience/thoughts on the matter. |

While I know a few subs who could do this, it's not what they want.
They don't want, and in some cases are not capable, of taking the control that is needed to "teach" in the BDSM world.
Having that control just breaks everything for many subs, they want to feel safe, protected yet challenged, not be bored waiting for things to be interesting.
A switch could probably help, rather than a sub. |
