Visiting London shortly and wondered if anyone had any restaurant recommendations?

Preferably not too far out as will be staying fairly central.

Not into fish. Any other recommendations welcome. Thanks.

West London

For good food and famously rude service you can't beat Wong Keis in China Town.

Ivy Brassiere- plenty of branches around London . Always a winner

Texas BBQ in Covent Gardens is amazing

Italian Garden - in portobello market

Rosa Thai - plenty of branches around London. Always a winner

Oleen and Steen - love their coffees and pastries

Dishoom - posh Indian in amazing decor . Plenty of branches around London

I suppose if you were more specific in what area you’ll be , I could suggest more . I eat out a fair bit .

Thank you very much Sammy. Love Dishoom they have one in Edinburgh so been a few times. Will definitely look into your other suggestions thanks!

For location I haven't booked a hotel yet but going to Wembley for a concert one night so perhaps an early dinner/late lunch one day kind of on the way to Wembley or with good underground links to it?

Only other plan is borough market at some point.

Soho …

Chotto Matte London- Japanese themed

Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s

Compton Brassiee

The Village (Gay bar )

GAY (yep another gay bar)

Ham Yard

Bar Termini (it’s small)

Also there’s the chain like : Simmons , BrewDog and just near Leicester Square is O’Neills it has sports and live music on weekends. And the large casinos are worth checking out .
