I always stay at my parents' house, near the A40M, over the August Bank Holiday weekend and head to Carnival on the Sunday and Monday.
It is so strange for the second year running not to hear the sound of floats, and the horns of people going to or coming from Carnival.
I took a quick spin tonight around Portabello which is normally a no go area and tonight it was open and quiet apart from one rave in Portabello Market Square. Strange times!
I have too many good memories, of Carnival with my friends (and also bad memories), but I still miss it! |
