Hi everyone!
I'm planning to go to Rio's spa for first time ,is anyone willing to give me some advice as how should i approach it for first time or who would like to go with me ?

Go with no expectations other than you will be in a place where you can relax and use the spa facilities. Chat to people like you would anywhere else. Explain that its your first time there and you'll find that friendly people will welcome you and give advice. Don't be one of the creepy predators that walk in circles hunting for single ladies. They don't like it & all the guys will think you're ruining the atmosohere. Equally, if someone shows interest in playing with you & you dont want to play, politely decline. People who are a problem get reported & asked to leave.
You don't need someone to go with unless you are dead set on couples night. Just go by yourself and enjoy the relaxation |

Rio's is simply a spa with restrooms and topless staff. It's a bit old-fashioned and could do with a redesign, but it's friendly and attracts a wide range of patrons, not all of whom are into sex with strangers. If you'd like to get an idea of the ambiance, there's a memoir called "The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker" by Suzanne Portnoy, which is all about her visits to Rio's. |

On a serious note, the last time I went, the women who were there, if they wore clothes and walked past me in the street I'd probably not do a double take. On my last visit there were quite a few people under 40. However, everyone seemed to keep to themselves besides a couple of couples. The cold weather has really made me fancy a visit. I think I might be able to persuade a friend as well. |

Don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes it's not easy to be sure with signals if worried about getting it wrong and not obvious. I find sometimes it's best to just bite the bullet and ask if not sure. At worst it will be a no which is the same result as letting a potential opportunity for something more go by. |

I’ll be taking my girl to Rios this weekend.

I disagree with the advice given above, if I guy tries to befriend my husband in a club over chatting to us both of trying to befriend me it would be a no from me

Must say I have been very disappointed with Rios the last 2 times I have been recently . Two many men to woman ratio but the men ( or some of them ) are on a different planet - or from one !
Constant following the few women that are there around like an animal and making them very uncomfortable . Management need to step in and carefully select who should be allowed in . Otherwise I can see this being an insurmountable car crash with no clientele apart from men which makes a mockery of a ‘mixed sauna’and I for one will not be going !

I have been trying to get to some sort of club, event or spa for a while. South East is pretty much dead. Gave Rio's a try and you are pretty much spot on for the ratio of men to women. Don't bother if you are a straight single male. |

Rios is mostly for locals.
It has a regular clientele. I wouldn’t consider myself a regular, having been maybe 5 times in as many years.
Take a female and you’ll have fun with her. If she’s up for a threesome or moresome, it’s a good place with the private rooms.

I started going to rios after they reopened post-lockdown. I'd never been before & initially it seemed ok. The place was mostly filled with men but 90% came across as decdent guys. Sadly, this seems to have changed recently. I guess it is because there is no need to provide vaccination or health checks so everyone can get in. There are a few faces I recognise each time i go. The vultures. These mindless, shorts wearing, baby oil carrying excuses for men just go there as predators to any woman that is brave enough to step foot inside. Last week, one guy, with a face that looks like he should be in a police lineup just hounded one poor woman all evening. She stood her ground but still, how can you relax or even try to have a polite chat with anyone with that going on. I don't think i'll go back. Time to try somewhere else |

The place is over 30 years old. The facilities are clean, but tired looking. Needs a major overhaul IMO.
6 odd weeks ago, I was there one of the steam rooms was broken and the working one was mediocre and not worth using . But 2 sauna rooms were working.

I would say that the general swinging demographic leans more towards the mature end in general anyway. When I visited it was fairly mixed but it didn't seem like swinging was on the agenda for most. |

Hello all
I went there recently for the first time.
