Last week, I was working in Kentish Town and spoke to a man, who I have spoken to in the past. I jokingly said not long now and he said the plan is to open in June.He did say that they will be covid safe when they do open up. |

Hey, just received finally an email from Rio’s confirming opening day of 21st June ! The email came from a dedicated email address which was listed on a message on their door. The emails states:
Good afternoon,
Many thanks for your email regarding the re-opening of Rios.
We were hoping to re-open last November but due to the tier system and further national lockdowns this was not possible.
However, we are excited to announce that subject to further Government restrictions, we are hoping to re-open on 21st June. We will be keeping the website updated on this progress.
Whilst we have been closed we have been working behind the scenes refurbishing and redecorating our facilities and making the premises COVID compliant ready for your safe return.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

If all social distancing and restrictions are supposed to be lifted on 21st June, why does Rios, or anywhere else for that matter, need to be covid safe?

I think some requirements will remain in place for a while , even after 21st June...like taking temperature off people at the entrance, contact tracing etc ...I think also come companies don’t want to risk on their long time license and rather wait and be compliant 100% then risk being closed down or sued ....anyway ....it’s good news that it will reopen ..... |

Just an awful place. Went with my ex.. single guys gawping and following and refusing to take no for an answer.. lets hope lockdown has taught people manners!!! |

Who the f*** are you to call it awful? Stay away if you don't like it. I have always had AMAZING times there. Every club I've ever been to is full of socially inept single guys. At least at Rios they don't stand around wanking, and couples are strictly banned from shagging in public areas. Thank you Rios for setting some basic standards. |

"rios is well run and i always said it but it takes creeps with there tools in there hands once the management backs are turned to ruin its reputation "
