What's up fab peeps I was looking at other threads on the forum and have been talking to former clients, friends and family
The takeaway is that everyone is losing their shit on some level.. which in this mad time is completely normal
One thing that has worked for me in the past and is helping me now is trying to keep a zen mindset, mindfulness whatever you want to call it
This lockdown or restriction of some kind may go on for a good while yet
When I tell myself this is happening, I can't affect the bigger picture and that I can only control my mind I feel ok.. still pissed, still worried but ok
Saying things like "I wish" "When will this end" "fuck China" etc is all just mental chatter that induces anxiety then more chatter and so on
It's a reality so we need to breathe deep , exhale and accept this reality for however long it takes
I'm not trying to sound like some hippy ass hat so I hope I'm not coming across that way
But if we all try to adopt the warrior mindset we'll cope a bit better
Like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse (inspired by other thread)
Many times in that movie all hope seemed lost.. but the Swayzz didn't give up.. he took his top off, oiled up and stared down his fear

Ive stayed away from social media. The constant updates on my news feed were driving me bonkers and giving high levels of anxiety. Husband also. Even instagram is bombarded. I just want to look at makeup so i took my ass over to pinterest and will now cost himself a bomb doing up the house instead yay |
