ok guys and girls, for a while now a few people have been talking about arranging a social meet and greet in derry and ive noticed their hasnt been one in a long time, im just making this topic to see if their is any real general interest for it and if so then ile happily arrange one. 
so please let me know if your all up for the idea

As with any meet and great, confidentiality and venue, along with the mix of attendees, are a major issue.
In theory, if those elements are satisfactory, no reason why people wouldn't travel and make it a success.

been to a cpl of meets from a differant site and they were not all they were cracked up to be!!!
the guys therre assumed they cud get laid with the women and some of us were very uncomfortable with that as lots of them very "fugly bugs " lol
on saying that there were some great men and women there too and we did have a giggle or 2 |

well this is a social event, no hidden agendas everyone going knows its to meet and greet few drinks dancing and a laugh! other arrangments can be made between individuals at their own time and expense lol |

I am sure it will be a good night. I am smiling recalling a meet and greet that was a little too well advertised at a hotel on another site years ago. Management at the Hotel got upset when people ranging wanting to book accomodation and asking for the "swingers party rate" ...... |

I think I know EXACTLY who you're talking about here  Still laughing here thinking of your reaction....
Social meets are a good way of meeting more people at once and you can arrange to hook up another time or after... I personally don't like having a social meet at a private rented venue... I think this would lead to some people having expectations. It needs to be clearly pointed out what the purpose of this meetup is, in my honest opinion. |

We'd be up for a social meet. PM with details when certain of venue, date, attendees, etc.........Prefer a balance of couples as some others have alluded to! |

Ok seems to be more of a cock party ATM lol
Have had a few emails from people saying they would rather it was in a bar instead of hotel so could be a venue change.
If I hav also had men emailin me Saying me and a female friend wil be attending if that is the case please let me know for deffinite ASAP as I want to get this meet and greet arranged  |

ah that old chestnut of the single male and his female friend lol just make sure there is a female friend in the first place lol wud,nt be so sure of the hotel bar meets to be honest cause that how the girl from belfast got caught out if you could possibly find a bar thats not too packed i think that wud be better then have everyone stayin in the same place just my view as its ur meet am not tryin to teach you to suck eggs or anything lol |

Will be crazy busy to try to hold it in a bar or hotel 2nd June.
In any case I'm only just arriving home from travelling on the 2nd and not really available til the 5th.  |

i totally agree wit u there ty as a lot of us have familys, be easier to get them to stay at their grans perfect.
for us though would have to be weekend 15th or 29th but hay if we miss it we can catch up next one x |
