Anybody been in the shops lately?

The local lidl has a strip of tape on the ground every 6ft at the checkout.. The idea is you have to stand behind this tape leaving 6ft between each customer.. Its all gone a bit mad hasn't it

no it’s called social distancing... the shops that are staying open are putting themselves at risk...

Some shops are staying open because they can't afford to pay staff if they close

Happened me today too. U leave a space between u and the person ahead and somebody just walks into it

Then the shop closes the door and its one in for one going out while maintaining the distance outside leaving room for peopld to comd out of the shop its quiet easy and no inconvience

How long do you think people will stick to that.. Give it a week they'll need to man the doors with security

Yes every shop and chemist had this tape in place.. Fair play to them for going to work each day.. Customers should give them the respect and consideration they deserve. Same as emergency workers putting themselves at risk..

I think they will stick to it as long as it takes this is now the new norm. Its the start of tighter clamp down if people dont adhere to it it bd a lot worse if u have to have permits to go out as they say the next sevendays will tell

I work in a supermarket and we are putting ourselves at risk every time we go to work because people need food and groceries. We are trying to do all we can to keep us and the public safe by cleaning surfaces, our hands etc and we need others to help by respecting the "social distancing" recommendations. FOR ALL OUR SAFETY. It's not easy but is necessary and we have tape and notices...hoping the public will adhere to these as days go by.
