So with all this self isolating going on I’m going to get through books a lot quicker than usually. I’d really appreciate any recommendations to help keep the boredom at bay.
Thanks in advance. xx |

"Reading American Gods atm its very good.
What kind of books do you like Lady"
I like a bit of everything. Thriller, horror, historical fiction...etc. The only thing that I’m not usually into are biographies. |

Just finished The Nowhere Child and it wasn't a bad read. We do book club in work, the next one is The Silent Patient which I've heard good reviews on.
I'm currently reading the killer in me, crime fiction, it's an easy read. |

I'm buying the new Hilary Mantel "The Mirror and The Light" this afternoon. Its the final book of the Wolf Hall trilogy. I'd never read historical fiction til I read Wolf Hall but Mantel is an exceptional author and I was hooked by the end of the first page. For anyone looking to try a new genre but thinks historical fiction isn't for them, give it a go! |

"Emperor series by Conn Iggulden, historical fiction they are really good "
I like Iggulden as a writer but the Emperor series bugged me because of liberties it takes with history. I much prefer his series on Genghis and his immediate successors |

They're not bad. I'm also a fan of the Masters of Rome series by Coleen McCullough |
