Do you think its obvious that a profile is fake if you are chatting to them and seem to be getting on ok but then you ask for a pic back after you send one and they block you straight away? I had sent a pic and was chatting after I did and once I asked I get blocked. Seems a bit fishy.. |

Happened to me before. I put it down to they just didn't fancy me.

Not necessarily, OP.
Sure there are 'pic collectors' on here but if you're sending a face picture and that happens, as unpleasant as it may seem, it's more often a case of them not being interested; The same as no reply. |

I get the whole they may not be interested but I had sent the pic and she said I was cute and grand we chatted away for a while more and It seemed to be going ok. Just seemed strange to all of a sudden I get blocked.. I would've got it if she blocked me after I sent the pic but it wasn't straight away.. Doesn't really matter anyway tbh just thought it was strange.

You can get blocked for simply saying hello op, I once messaged a woman localish, she replied by asking me does your wife know your on here? Then blocked me  , I'm pretty sure on reflection she may have thought it was my brother as we look very a like...I just hope she doesn't tell his wife  |

A lot of guys send face pic freely, we do not, even if one is sent unless we agree, they are not obliged to reciprocate, however if I ask for one and get it then I always return it is good manners, but blocking someone for asking no lol well as others say here just move on it takes all sorts! Well she did ask for a pic and I obliged and we were chatting for a while longer and then bang you're blocked lol.. Oh well I won't dwell on it to long lol |

I remember being upset the time it happened to me
I'm not the most confident guy but then a few women sent me face pics via the forum threads and were genuinely friendly to me on the forums and still are.
I also sent them a face pic as requested and wasnt blocked so happy days .
It does make you wonder wtf alright |

One possibility could be that they are fake a second possibility is they could be just playing you which probably ties with my 1st point lol but tbh it's tricky to tell if they are fake or not unless they have pics and you can at least reverse image them normally something about slips that don't add up sadly this is a common occurrence same with couples profiles when it's just one guy behind it all |

Yeah I had a similar situation as yours it's not a nice thing to go through but I feel we get more wiser as we go along but the people that do go doing things like that needs to stop |

I'm on 4 years now and probably blocked by half the site at this stage lol  ... but I have my regulars and its just the minority anyway who like to use it for more of an ego booster than anything else. Take away the blockers, pic collectors and timewasters, the majority of the people on the site are actually very nice and its always difficult to tell a personality from a profile. Certainly wouldn't worry about it.   |
