Online shopping on some sites is a problem, some not taking any orders at the moment due to a deluge, go figure. The Adidas website was on the blink yesterday. What will we do

Jesus imagine with everything else going on we lose the internet as well.

There would definitely be a few 'Shining' moments I reckon

I'm genuinely planning to skip the internet too. It's getting too repetitive

Simple fact is if the people working on the internet get sent home. Who would keep the system running. And with schools closed and people stuck at home it's going to get overwhelmed.

Emergency crews will still have to operate, like ESB etc. Just like when there is a storm.

Telecoms workers will be part of that. The government and emergency services need good comms as much as the rest of us. The emergency services system is maintained by private contracting companies. They will be expected to work.

Passage of information to us will be crucial now so they will ensure that we all stay connected.
