"I'm not trying to be rude, OP, but two adults having a chat over a cuppa is not an eyebrow-raising event "
Exactly! And if they’re that concerned about being “caught” don’t do it! |

I can't think of something more innocent than that to be honest.
We have to try and act as normal as possible during this lock down and in fairness an empty coffee shop is an ideal place not to catch anything.
We also need to support small business during this difficult for them...if you normally get your hair cut or a fake tan or waxing or dinner still do it...try to help people stay in a job |

It could be be the usual where they suggest coffee in their car as they don't want to be seen with you in public. Ok to fuck but God forbid someone might spot them having a coffee social with you |

Wow thank you everyone for the very informative replies. I put the post up in jest to maybe have a laugh with. When you have to explain the joke it's no longer funny but I suppose evening is a little tense right now. I'll have that coffee to go Ha ha ha |

Every coffee shop I seen yesterday was full of happy people. I even enjoyed a hot chocolate and a slice of carrot cake on Tuesday with two friends and it was full. |

buying on line & deliveroo may be a safer way to get stuff right now, but the small local businesses are now suffering due to the lock down, so go for a pint, eat out & shop local...they will all have policies in place to keep you safe...if a local business goes out of business during this, then it may never return... that's local people out of work |
