To be honest a meet off fab is the last thing on my mind... I’m thinking not Just of myself but others around me . And for all those thinking it’s just a cold or flu don’t be so ignorant

We cancelled a coffee meet for this weekend and won't be meeting for the foreseeable future. It's about protecting vulnerable people by restricting the opportunities for the virus to spread. It's hardly a huge sacrifice.

I wouldn't. I asked about planned socials and got interesting replies. Too much money involved I guess, but I'd say keep my payment and not go.

I think you are safer staying clear from face to face contact.

I don't think I will be meeting anyone, last thing I am interested in. The forum is the nearest to meeting I will be going for a while

My buisness is going to go under over this virus.

What do you know about any money involved? How many socials have you organized? Do you know how much money it costs to organize a social?

Just because some people refuse to panic and want an escape for a night from all the crap that's been shoved down everyone's throats for months, doesn't mean that they're not being safe or doing something for money.

Those events and any other kinds of meets are agreed upon and organized between all consenting adults. Everyone is responsible for taking their own risks and altough the situation on this island isn't critical yet, I'm certain that everyone will take according action as it further develops. Be it a few weeks, months or years (hopefully not months or years, we only have 7 rolls of toilet paper in our house)

It might not make any difference to you, but I have heard that banks have been instructed to allow loan holidays and restructuring. Talk to your bank they might be more flexible than normal.

I guess you have a point they saying restrictions to a 100 people I’ve been to loads of socials and yes the organisers put time and money into them.., I guess they concerned for future ones and it takes a while to plan. I guess it’s down to the individual if they want to attend. Not even from a fab perspective other planned advents weddings etc must be a worry for people

Apparently by some it's all just a big hype and over exaggerated.

I know they have to it a lot into it some think others don't know that. Hence why I said, I wouldn't expect refund and to keep my payment as that helps offset costs as many might expect refunds under the circumstances.

I guess some took it as a bit threatening and personal. Hey ho.

Its pretty obvious that corona has the ability to decimate the population of 60+ year olds.

So if you are young, decide that you can see the virus off with your immune system, that it wont affect anyone you know as you dont visit older people, that you will be isolated most of the time anyway. Then make sure you know the name, adress and contact details of everyone you meet so you can inform them that you gave them corona when you catch it.
