Hi All.

I rejoined fab 3 weeks ago.. The amount of status i have seen from people feeling down/alone is scary..

Im just putting this out there.. You are not alone theres always someone willing to listen..

I have opened my profile up so anyone who needs a chat.. A listening ear feel free to message me...

This is not a White Knight post.. Its just me letting people know.. Its OK not to be OK ..

Think it's the time of year Stevie. Have chatted to a few friends over the last week and it's like the weather has sucked the life out of us all.

Lots of people seem to base their entire self-worth on being accepted by others in a group. I've always been a maverick individual who couldn't give a rat's ass about others opinion of me. Oh how right you are with your first line.. my son (7) said something that only we understood in a chipper one day. I started giggling at what he said and before I knew what had happened about 10 people were laughing. They had no reason to laugh only that it was fun and the right thing to do in that moment.... or maybe I'm paranoid for the downers.....

I think our Irish weather doesn't help. It's been a long winter, and raining non stop for weeks. Miserable is the word that comes to mind. And recently there's been a lot of very negative posts here. We can't do anything about that, we have to live in the world too. But, there are brighter days ahead, Spring is here,and the days are getting longer. I'm a good listener, and have a little warm oasis if you want to meet, man or woman, for chat or have a coffee, or chat here. We all put on the good face for our social media persona, so don't think that everybody else's life is wonderful and you're the only one not having fun/sex/love/happy family etc. Keep talking.
