Chat rooms are becoming a bit redundant with chat groups really.
The UK one will be busier as there are more people from the UK on here.... Irish people.will gravitate towards the busy room and hey presto dead chatroom |

In my humble opinion the majority of people don’t use the chat rooms as much as there seems to be a hierarchy of people who don’t contribute to the threads in a helpful, constructive way but would rather put others down and be too judgemental instead of having a bit of fun and being friendly |

The chat room can be good craic at times but it has definitely quietened down a lot in recent weeks in particular. There are also people who are in there a lot but never chat even if you say hello to them they just lurk lol But it is what it is. I pop in and out of it and some evenings it's good fun. Other ones it's dead as a door knob. |

I'm sure most people have lives and that they are probaly not here just for the '' chat''. If anyone just wants to talk about random stuff, sure they can but if someone doesn't, your just going to have to deal with it as they have that right too. Professional moaners, some people are... Lol

Totally agree sometimes it can be a laugh and others dead. Kik groups are probably more popular now. Chat has no expectation or rules on your participation unlike some kik groups. |

Don't know what it looks like on a pc/tablet but, on a mobile phone, it's impossible to keep track of who's saying what to whom.
Dipped in occasionally and a lot of the time, the conversations were drivel, unless Hotsy Totsy or similar were present.
Haven't looked at it in weeks now  |

I suppose chat itself isn't really that mobile friendly and to go onto it and use it comfortably one has to use their pc.
I just dont spend as much time on my laptop any more so really stopped popping in as often as I used to |

The chat engine just doesn't work on mobiles which is probably how must people access the site now..
I used to be a big chatter when here before and had several meets from it is it's a great way to get to know people but you need a couple of people willing to drive the chat on a bit to get it moving
I might have to have a look again. |

I prefer being on the mobile version. You cant get pm's, etc and can concentrate on main chat rather than being pulled off to the side for one on one chats.

Yes there is a difference . And can set pm to friends only and pokes to friends only .
And easier to keep up .

People don't talk as much in the irish room there to busy checking peoples profiles out then there lurking ,its like being in a bar and nobody's ordering a drink, because of that I go to the busy rooms |
