I'm sure most fellas here experience this. No replies. But it had gone beyond the joke for me now. My opening message is always friendly. Usually accompanied by a face Pic. I think I'm not bad looking. So here's a challenge to the ladies today. Message me if you want to talk to a genuine nice guy. And if it's not me then message that profile you like. You'd just never know. |

I'm not as sure as you OP what most fellas experience here.
Only can tell you what I experience here.
1. No replies .
That's quite simple and as posted above equals no interest .
2. No thanks any other format of lack of interest reply .
That's simple too .
"No" is a full sentence ,as someone else's also stated .
3.messages back that turn into conversation , some shorter , some longer , some ongoing , some will find a deal-breaker in compatibility , some won't and might finish in a meet.
4. Messages from women. Reason for those messages is their choice , trigger for that choice is their own to.
Sometimes I ask about it , sometimes I don't .
Rejection I consider a closure , move on.
Only one type of message bugs me "unread& not deleted" .
Like a message in a bottle that never landed on a beach.
Bugs me less now as I included before in messages anything along the lines of "if you're not interested please delete this message" .

Honestly, the best thing you can do is delete any and all of your sent messages. There are countless reasons why I person may not reply, be it immediately or a little longer;
They could have opened the message at an inopportune time, perhaps in public, and didn't have the time or privacy to give it their attention.
If it were a couple then maybe one has read it but is waiting for their partner to see it before they both reply.
They're just two examples, granted, but as they show you can't ever know what's going on so it's never worth dwelling on and staring at your sent messages.

Can i just say this with the greatest of respect to those on here that have already posted and without causing offence to anyone who I'd actually consider a fab friend.
I can tell that the op is one of those people that thinks he was on dial a ride and that everyone owed him an explanation to all his problems
But was he bullied a bit in calling him short in the first place.
There's another thread on here about cyberbullying and it just made me think thats all.
He obviously has a problem in his head about being short and I genuinely hope hes ok and learns manners and how to deal with rejection properly. |

If you are a guy who is short and hung up about it, well thats for you to sort out. Me personally ive never had an issue or problem being short. I couldn't give a toss about it. Im not judging the OP or anyone else on here but there are more important things in life than being short. |

I treat this place like a friendly pub in real life and there are some people that I'd have a pint with and some I wouldn't.
There are also people in this pub that wouldnt have a pint with me but there's plenty of room at the bar.
I also wouldn't use language that I wouldn't use in the pub to someones face

I think a little thought and respect goes a long long way. No one comes on here to be rude or offensive or to be a bully in any way but sometimes our words can hurt in ways we don't mean then to. Some guys need to take a good long hard look at themselves thinking that they've joined up to a easy ride and when they don't get it in the first few days coming whinging in the forums asking why why why.... and it gets a bit long but most will still offer advise in a nice way.
I'm not gonna get into the whole msging thing and deleting or responding. If I get a msg I respond to it but it's up to every individual you do whatever they want to do with their msgs. I don't throw the toys out of the pram if I don't get a reply but if ites deleted then it's simple.... not interested. Shout I said I wasn't gonna get into all that didn't I?
I think most ppl on here are genuine and good ppl looking for whatever they are looking for so maybe a little more thought you your fellow grabbers might not be such a bad thing. It's gonna be much better for everyone if we can all get along and at the same time not take anything to seriously.

Well I make no apologies for speaking the plain unvarnished truth. Life is far too short to be hanging out with uncool people, so if I get the vibe a woman on here or any other dating site is likely to have a piss poor attitude, I loose interest entirely.
A younger fella may bend over backwards to please a woman who has a bad attitude, just to get in her knickers. While a more savvy older guy will just say "Not my monkey, not my circus" -and walk away |

Thanks Pete but the "bugs me" is not up to any point of me thinking about it to much.
Multitudes of reasons I get too.
Fab online is only a part of my experience here.
