Hi every1, we are heading out in Dublin 2moro nite for our anniversary and want to know wat good pubs are in town, don't really want to go to temple bar though

pubs in Dublin are terrible rip offs...only in Ireland do you get ripped off on your anniversary

Niamh lives in Dublin so accommodation isn't a problem thankfully.

Somewhere with a decent pint, a mix between 1 and 2

The church at the end on Henry st. has a modern and hip feel to it but its a classical setting..Lovely place for a pint, with a great beer garden!

yeah The Church is a very impressive bar, especially for tourists and THE BANK on Dame Street is a similar type

personally I can't stand the church bar.

Also for some reason it sounds like a canteen in here.

Everytime I've been there service was crap. I find the decoration so disappointing and main stream. They could have made it up much more heavy and gothic, it's in an old church after all!

We ended up in the dandelion by stephens' green. Very nice pub and the price was alrite as well, €10 for a pint and a cocktail

not a bad choice,and not a bad price for where you were.but that was 10 quid for a pind AND acocktail , right ? lol. in dublin u cant be sure

Ya quite sure, I was surprised it was that cheap and it was a very good pint and they knew how to make cocktails

yeah great choice .. know the place well .. they have regular €5 cocktail nights
