There are fewer things I prefer in life than sitting down, switching off and watching a film.
Would anyone on here fancy getting involved in a film club? A different movie every week, and we could discuss it after we've watched it.
I'm thinking I could take a glance over the terrestrial TV guide each week and pick something. I'd say this is the fairest way as not everyone will have a subscription to the movie channels or be signed up to a streaming service.
If you're in drop a message below. |

I just thought the fairest way to do it was pick something that was on TV. I'm sure most of us are savvy enough to be able to get our hands on most films without having to purchase it, but not everyone is.
I'm glad to see people interested in this. I'll have a glance at next week's listings to see if there is anything decent coming up. |

"As opposed to one movie for all every week. Why not make everyone watch at least one of their own choosing and then give some feedback.
That could work.
In fact that's probably a better idea."
No movies tonight though cos the Champs League is back |

That’s not how these things work. You could end up with 50 movies being discussed simultaneously. It’ll be a mess. If everyone (or as many as want to) watches the same one we have the same starting place, and an opportunity to have some proper chat about it. |

This isn't the first film, but having had a quick look through the listings there is one of those made for TV movies that channel 5 show on tomorrow afternoon called 'Deviant Love' itll probably be a tame affair but that's not the kind of film title you expect to come across on a Wednesday afternoon. |

"Ok so if you have sky you dont have Channel 5 so i shall try to download "
I have channel 5 on my sky? Are you south of the border? Maybe its different down there.
Anyway Deviant Love isn't the first movie, it's just something I found and was a bit surprised a film with that name was being shown at 1515 on a Wednesday afternoon |

just about northside |
Yes in Dublin, Ch 5 on Sky requires manual tuning and is not recordable.
Anyway, I'm in. That said, I assume OP sets up a group or does OP start a fresh post weekly and therefore no one required to state they're 'in' |

I'll probably just do a new post every week. |

I'll have the first film picked by lunchtime today and I'll start a new thread about it.
It will most likely be labelled "FFC#1: Name of Film"
I'll then copy a description of the film from IMDB and let you lovely bastards know when it's on so you can set it to record. |

"Is there 2 threads about this same topic?
There are 2. One with the initial idea, and the other with the film of choice for this week."
Phew!
Kaizer thought he was hallucinating again |
