Hi guys, I am interested in going to events but need to be verified ?? still haven't managed to meet anyone from here yet.im finding it a bit difficult . Any advice on meeting or getting verification

I found getting involved in the forum really worked wonders in arranging meets my first time round.
Also keep an eye out on the forum for meet and greets (not all of these require a veri).
Kik groups seem to be a good way to go these days.
Someone might give you a webcam veri to start with too of you get chatting. |

Yes some lovely ladies had one at the weekend for unverified guys . Keep an eye out for one as it was mentioned in the forums that someone in Dublin is hosting one. |

Too nervous to have a civil coffee with another person?
Do you think we're some kind of sex crazed monsters, who will jump you in public and tear you to pieces?
This kind of attitude is what makes this site seedy and frustrating as men join it expecting everyone to be horny and ready for it at all times and when god forbid someone offers them to meet for a coffee and chat - they start imagining that a woman they'll meet will want something more (that's how it goes in porn eh) and automatically get scared of what will happen if they won't find that woman attractive, get themselves all worked up and don't show up in the end using an excuse like "oh, I'm sorry, I just bottled it, I was too nervous".

I understand where you are coming from but that's not what I think of anyone on this site. After all I'm on here too.
The reasons for bottling it was because it was very close to my fam home and close to where people I know worked, that what time he nerves where about. And I had a time slot as they group I was meeting were seeing a number of people. I'm not making any excuses I didn't show up and that's not cool but you are making me out to be some sort of monster which I think.is a bit unfair. |

Did you think she was going to follow you to your family home to ravage you there? Or find out where your family home is and introduce herself to your family?
Also having a civil coffee in a coffee shop with another adult/group of adults and bumping into someone you know is somehow so terrible?

In no way would I wish to generalise but this is an unfortunate reality and outcome of not only many an individual meet but, as the OP himself even mentioned being interested in, socials and events.
There's more generous and selfless people on here than ever get credited, especially those who organise events for others or offer up their time to help another. When anyone, men or women, tell tall tales of how interested they are only to disappear then often the unseen side of things is not only the effort and planning that goes by the wayside but the strain it can, potentially, cause.
If you're not sincere, don't string anyone along. You're not only kidding yourself but you're chipping away at those who only want to help. |
