Just put a nice venison stew on in the slow cooker for 12 hour's,a nice leg from a calf with all the trimmings,veg,potatoes,herbs,spices,stock,cracked pepper corns,sea salt,red wine,etc,the aroma is driving me mad,I can't wait |

yes you need small air holes one at ten o'clock one at two one at four one at eight,small holes poke the handle of a teaspoon in that will do,and just leave alone,and only fill with stock or oxo,soup,one third from the top |
