Just wondering on people’s views on receiving a wink? I tend to do it as an initial icebreaker, rather than wasting a long message which gets deleted most of the time. The joys of being male here I suppose...do people look at winks or is a sending a short message better? |

Thanks to your thread I just found lots of people winked me. I did not wink them back.
I use wink sometimes |

I never send an initial wink as I think women and couples get enough besides if they are interested then they would select who they would want to wink at and if you are interested then wink back. If you want to make the first move then I think an interesting message works better where you can tempt and tease, standing out from the crowd. |

We never pay attention to winks when we're looking for single guys -it's hard enough sifting through the mail.
When we're looking for couples a wink from the right pair will always get our attention |

Thanks for all your opinions, a mixed view seems the order of the day. I still like the wink option as I feel it saves a lot of time and the risk it will be ignored is no greater than the risk of your message being deleted anyway and it a lot less time consuming. If I get a wink back or a Hi, then I tend to make an proper effort with a decent message- which then gets deleted |
