You will be blocked 
If you aint native English speaker, start your message from: "Hello! Portuguese (this is just example) intelligent guy with manners and good sense of humor here."
Some people might be picky and want to meet Irish only. No problemo Read the profiles first, then send a message 
Btw Make sure you have auto filling off! I have replied for a few messages with no sense at all  |

We reply to most messages, because we are polite and understand how it must feel to be ignored.
What at makes us not reply? People who are crass, ignorant, persistent or blatantly ignoring preferences stated on our profile. |

Manners, mine not others. That’s not to say women and couples that don’t reply to messages haven’t got any as well all know they get inundated and probably the majority of the messages they receive do not warrant a reply.
Single men don’t get the same quantity of messages so I reply to all even if it’s my stock answer to guys to politely tell them I’m straight and wish them good luck in their search. |

Picky is good , I'm picky too .Not sending many messages either.

A witty, well worded msg that's not as long as a book nor 5 words in total, that shows he/she/they have bothered to read the profile usually works wonders |

Completely agree 
A bit of Witt goes a long way...but it's funny, lads are expected to write an essay/ comedy script & (not all) but most of the messages from ladies are a one liner "how are you??"
