I had a strange encounter today. I was talking to woman she is 25. We have been chatting for a few weeks I found her on a dating site. It’s been very vanilla and friendly.
But found out today that she things porn isn’t for women. That sex is very special and should always be with someone special and there should be no sex of physical stuff. for the first few months I dating.. I didn’t judge her.
I don’t really know what to say though.. she doesn’t seem to realise when done right a woman can get just as much out of sex and delving into her desires as a man.... I just though almost everyone under the age of 50 was more open to the world.
Do you think she is missing out? |

Of course she`s missing out.....but how she feels about porn and sex is her prerogative, maybe if she meets that someone special and things are going well, maybe then her views might change who knows  |

Err.. its fairly self-evident Harry. Perhaps because that's what a lot of Christian religions openly teach? Most of ireland were taught by them that sex is only for procreation during marriage, and something that a woman should endure rather than enjoy. A lot of the sexual repression in Ireland rooted in this indoctrination. This is probably an example of that.
Anyway.. I'm not planning on wasting my Sunday debating this because I think the point stands on it's own and I've got better things to do than react to troll bait. Enjoy mass Harry. |

Ive met a fair number of very straight laced sexually repressed women on the dating sites over the last twelve years. Most of them come from a conservative catholic rural backround where the church still has a lot more influence than they have in the larger towns and cities. Usually one of their elder siblings inherited the family farm, and they got an education and a house in the suburbs.
Unfortunately this religious indoctrination process begins at an early age, and becomes an almost impossible cycle to break. |

Mrs here. It might be a fear for having sex as she heard stories its painful. Then it might also be religion thingy that sex outside marriage is a sin. Or it might be just a simple romantic reason: she wants to make 100% sure that the guy with whom it will be her first time is a special person and will treat her with respect afterward. There are lots of stories guys wanted a virgin , then laughed in the club how scared she was, etc...
My answer OP is give her more time, talk to her openly.

I think everyone kind of jumped to conclusions. Going by what the OP said there is nothing to indicate the lady does not want or indeed enjoy sex. He just said she believes it should be special
