Work with a fella got it done late teens/early 20s. The change in sensitivity was a bit to get used to, the scab wasn't pleasant but he thinks he possibly lasts longer now due to decreased sensitivity around helmet from always being exposed. After chatting to him and not that I was considering it, but defo wasn't for me |

It’s exceptionally painful more so as an adult (hubby had it done at 19) doesn’t make a difference for me anyway when it comes to sex...
You do lose some sensation when you have it done obviously according to hubby and doc that did it!!
Is there a reason you’re thinking about it? |

Got it done 12 years ago due to a medical reasons - foreskin was getting tighter but unfortunately it wasn't due to my cock getting bigger.
It was painful for 3-4 days after, like any surgery will be.
However the main thing is the decrease in sensitivity but for the first month I was more aware of my cock being there.
I felt it was bigger it always seemed to be there but the surgeon who was brilliant explained that it was just normal as the sensitivity settled down.
It was not on my to do list before I was 40 so unless it is required medically or for a religious reasons don't mess with what you have. |

It's fuckin hilarious people commenting on how swore it is but never had it done or even have a cock lol .
I've had it done in my early 30s for medical reasons .
As posted above it's swore for a day or so after the op that was all . And can also confirm a loss of sensitivity due to the head not been covered any more .
But on the upside last soo much longer now

I’ve noticed over the last few months my foreskin getting tighter and it’s very difficult to pull it all the way back to clean when I’m in the bath/shower |

Ok so I had mine done at the age of 48 because I had to.
My foreskin was too tight and wouldn't pull back and if it was forced,I got small tears and bleeding.I also couldn't clean underneath anymore.
So after Doctors visit he recommended that i get it done.
I went in for surgery and 3 different people prodded and poked and tryed to pull back my foreskin to show me what it would look like after the op.
Woke up bandage on my little fella but no pain until the drugs wore off.
Wasnt allowed leave until i had peed through the bandage and a new dressing put on.
The first week was a bitch to be honest ....pain was manageable with tablets but night/morning erections were incredibly uncomfortable and you could literally feel the stitches pulling and You also have to wear tight jocks so your knob doesnt rub as its sore.
Final result
Pro's
Love the way it looks now as for years it was just a mess
Can finally have sex
Cons
Lack of sensation in your knob during intercourse...you could last for hours and masturbating is different.I do miss my foreskin for that
It now means that I prefer oral than actual intercourse
Sorry if thats too much info but if its playing on your mind it can feck up your head as men don't normally discuss these things.
Feel free to pm if you want more info

Fantastic reply.
If people on here would be more like you this would be a far nicer place. No opinions and just facts from personal experience. Well done you. |

I had it done for medical reasons, foreskin getting tight which seemingly is common enough among men from 30s onwards, so the consultant told me.
No real cons bar the expected discomfort for a few days.
But I prefer it like this, feels much more hygienic (not saying that it is if you took care in the first place anyway). Scarring cleared up ok too.
And unlike some of the other guys here, I haven't experienced any lack of sensitivity. In fact it may even be more sensitive.
So no complaints from my end regarding results. |

Oh, I meant to include..
In my opinion, if you don't need to get it done, then don't. Something could go wrong y'know and there ain't no going back. |

There is compelling evidence that male circumcision reduces the risk of heterosexually acquired HIV infection in men by approximately 60%. Three randomized controlled trials have shown that male circumcision provided by well trained health professionals in properly equipped settings is safe. |

I had some foreskin inflammation (balinitis) several years ago. One of my fwb's at the time had a high sex drive, a very tight pulsating pussy, she also had a birth control coil fitted... and she also enjoyed very rough sex... Needless to say, my poor foreskin was in tatters. Since we stopped meeting, my foreskin inflammation just disappeared... Some of my current regulars are quite tight, but they don't cause my foreskin any problems whatsoever... I like to use a natural water based lube during vigorous deep penetration, because most women aren't squirting continuously during sex, a little lubricant works wonders... Anyway hope this helps..

I’ve just had it done 3 weeks ago so still recovering. Mine was due to tight foreskin. Pain for first few days then really it’s just very sensitive as you walk. Morning erections woke me up but as soon as you feel the pain trust me you won’t be hard for king haha. Week 3 and stitches are just about nearly dissolved and still sensitive to the touch. You can’t have sex or mastubate for 4-6 weeks. That’s the worst for me haha. But now I’ve had it done I’m looking forward to learning how to use it all over again. Hope you get sorted OP. |

I have a circumsised.. its healthy, sex is good, mrs feel more and cleaning is easier... they do it by anesthetic so you would not feel a thing just a little sore the following day but pain killers does the job...get a dr. to look at it.. |

I had it done early 30s.
Not a problem whatsoever!
Very little or no so called 'pain.
I don't know where others are getting the idea it was painful tbh.
Bit swollen and scarey looking for few days and doc told me not to use it for a month.
Go for it lad..
I did it for pure vanity reasons cause I thought I'd look like a hung pornstar!!! lol |

Go ahead. Having been circumcised when I was 26, I would recommend it for cleanliness, aesthetic appeal and fantastic sensations rubbing on the inside of the vagina. There are different styles depending on tightness and position of the scar. I am low and tight with the frenulum removed but wish I had asked for high and tight. |

If it’s at all possible to avoid I’d advise doing so. I deeply regret having mine done. The loss in sensitivity seems like a good thing when you’re in your 20’s and can fuck like a rabbit but in your 50’s it’s a bloody nuisance. Try a steroid cream from your doctor to help stretch the skin. You might regret losing your foreskin and once it’s gone, it’s gone. |

Had it done in my 30s for a medical reason, a few days of discomfort after the surgery, nothing that over the counter paracetamol didn't sort out. Was a wee bit sensitive around the tip for a few months but after that all was good. Now I last longer, sex is much more comfortable, no complaints from the ladies and no more medical problems for me. |

Please show us the compelling evidence that showed there’s a 60% less chance in heterosexual HIV in circumcised men.
Why did you tag on a weird line about controlled circumcision in men being safe? The exact same could be said for female circumcision, in a controlled environment it’s completely safe so what’s your point? |

Unless you need to have it done for s medical reason, I would personally avoid. |
