Dermot and Dave on Today FM (07/01/20) @ 10:30AM
Jump to: Newest in thread
It could've been a better interview alright but I've heard much worse ones before.
At least Dermot & Dave didn't go to town taking the piss like a lot of 'interviewers' have in the past.
Mentioning the site was a bit too much. There'll probably be loads of new profiles over the next couple of days looking for a quick ride on the side! |

I think many people will just snigger and dismiss but what I like about both the man and woman was that they made it matter of fact and no big deal which is about time. Ireland has had enough of dirty secrets and judging others. Well done to both. |

True, and while they were light hearted about it, Dermot & Dave were willing to let them speak about it without being dismissive or judgemental.
The vast majority of us want to keep this aspect of our lives private & wouldn't dream of speaking about it anywhere.
Well done to both of those people for standing up for the swinging community & lifestyle in general.

This!
The fact it was talked about and the way it was handled was very good.
My fear is that some sad newspaper reporter trying to make a name for themselves will try and get a story out of spinning it as a "seedy underworld". we all know how people like a scandal and reporters will jump on it. |

"Will swinging sites ever be fully accepted as the norm?"
-------------
Well POF is generally accepted as normal...
Even though many women leave it
"Because at least here on FAB people are honest
about what they're after" |

Well done to all who participated in the TodayFM show this morning!
You made swinging come across as fun, inclusive and something adventurous for couples or singles to get into.
Not like other previous tabloid features.. Shite, labelling it seedy and dirty.. |

Listened to the podcast and thought the lifestyle came across quite well d_spite a couple of minor inaccuracies. Dermot and Dave asked all the right questions as opposed to anything sensationalist. Quite a good interview. |
