Right guys, have 3 questions for you...
1. How many people are currently on your block List? 
2. Do you have any different criteria other than
pain in the ass  / rude  / annoying 
to land onto your block list? and...
3. Seeing as it's the end of 2019,
...are you prepared to let any of the prisoners go??

A lot.
Aside from being pure abusive, weve blocked ones that were being a bit stalkerish and ones that dont bother reading our profile and have zero to offer on their one.
Theres a few on it that havent been on in a quite a while so will prob take them off the list but other than that nope |

Lots too many to count  They are there for good reason but usually for saying something mean to me
I have been kind to a few and let them go but instantly regret it and they end up back in the sin bin no one has ever redeemed themselves  |

Fun fact about my block list I once blocked 63 men in one day. This was at the start. The first day I joined Fab I woke up to 402 messages I was inundated with heah hun wanna fuck messages or have a hotel room for work and the usual rude and abusive messages or the wont take no for a answer messages. It was of course because I was new and was "fresh meat"

2. As well as the usual reasons, there are people on there who we know we'll never want to meet for a variety of reasons such as really distasteful status updates, serial woe-is-me moaners, references to drug use, offers of money/rewards, dickish forum posts, crass messages, or we know we arent their type or they ours, the repeat messagers who don't remember you already said no thanks a week ago.

1. Most likely half of fab at this point

There's a pointless element to blocking, any blocked person can approach you again with a new profile. So I use it very little, there's 9 on it. Most of them are there because they wanted to be there.
Unblock them, na, too much work. |

Agree with you on the pointlessness to an extent, it's not going to stop someone determined to stalk or harass you. But it's good for those guys who employ the scattergun approach and send the same "introductory" message week in, week out |

Thats not necessarily true, most of the ones on ours are still active and would still be sending us messages on the same profile from 3 years back.

There's 12 on ours, all guys. No abuse from them just beings pests and spamming messages. One sent 5 messages in the space of 10 minutes. Then one or two offering us and to come join their party. |

1 person on mine...Someone who knew everything about my personal life including my kids names and who my ex was...clearly a friend of hers..who threatened to tell the whole of fab what kind of person I "really" was...I wasnt gonna block but decided in the end it would be better for me rather than get into another fight with my ex over this C**T, forgive me I have used the the most hated C word.. |

34 Blocked.
I don't really have any criteria other than when I am browsing I stumble across a profile that has me blocked so I block back. One or two are the male or female part of a couple profile and the couple profile had me blocked so technically they didnt block me first.
Would I unblock? not really. In fact i wish I could stop them quoting me on the forum and talking to me on the forum too, or maybe if I just couldnt see them on the forum it would be good. I can't remember who they are, and they often quote me and talk to me on threads, often insulting me and stuff, and as a result I have to click on peoples profiles all the time to double check if they have me blocked before replying to them.
Ah well what can you do. |
