So you Irish lovelies. I’m going to be in Dublin and possibly Belfast for work in February.
My free time will be limited so I want to make the most of it. My question to all you beauties is, what is really worth seeing? Also what foods and even which restaurants should I not miss?
Many thanks in advance for your help |

If you like your wings, elephant & castle in temple bar best wings in Dublin. Fx Buckley restaurant has the most amazing steaks (little pricey but worth paying that bit extra).
Arlington hotel on bachelors walk has very good entertainment and the drink isn’t a COMPLETE rip off. Discovered a great place only yesterday called Mary's Bar near grafton street. 12 in the day they do fresh toasties and pints.
Touristy stuff : Guinness factory tour, Viking splash tour, wax museum.
All I can think of right now but hope this helps |

There’s a thing call The Ghost Bus... basically a tour bus that traverses the streets with a bunch of actors on board that play out various scenarios. Usually ends up in a pub called The Gravediggers. I probably shouldn’t say this, but one of the drivers is an older version of me.
As my profile pic suggests, I partake in nighttime activities myself... |

If you like BBQ and whiskey, check out Bison Bar on the quays. It's a euro or two more per dish than Pitt bros but definitely worth it.
Over 100 whiskeys too.
Check out if any gigs of interest next door in Workmans Club.
The Button Factory is in Temple Bar and Vicar Street is about a 15min walk, so check in advance for who might be playing whilst you are here.
Other than that, Temple Bar will be rocking and ripping you off nicely while you're here.
If you want a real pint of Guinness, Madigans on Poolbeg street for great atmosphere and pints.
The Olympia is another good venue beside you if there's something on you want to see.
The Irish Film Institute in Meeting House square is good for a decent bit of food and you don't need to be going to a movie to eat/drink there.
Enjoy, whatever you decide. |

I get that, so it’s like London. This time it has to be Dublin though because it’s for work. |

Get that sweet ass to Center Parcs in Longford
Relax in the spa or go for a cycle, perhaps some Raft building or Laser tag
It's also located at the very heart of this rock so you'll get to see plenty of shit |

If youre here for a short stint then no harm in checking out temple bar area. The Quays will generally have live music and isnt a bad bar. Venturing from temple bar tho, try the Dawson Lounge, McDaids or Kehoes.
Depends on what food you like but Id recommend FXBs if you fancy a steak or Salamanca if you like tapas. |

Well FXBs is local grub, their 2 industries are butcher and restauranteur. Brasserie 66 is also not far from you. How long are you here for?
And seperately given you mentioned London...any tips near St Pauls. Working over there for a bit in Jan myself |

But Dublin is a small and compact city so getting around is easy. Capel street is only the otger side of river about 10 mins walk. Theres the guinness and Jamesons tours but very pricey. Kilmainham jail is a must see though. If you are into Theatre, the Abbey is goid and very close to where you are staying. If you need any more info, let me know. |

Whelans on Camden Street if you like live music and a good bar. Guinness Storehouse if you are doing anything touristy, the gravity bar at the end of the tour is a highlight. Stags Head near Christchurch is a great pub. |

I better post for Belfast.
Belfast Food tour is well worth a go as not only do you get a guided tour around Belfast’s artisans you will be given some of the best food in various venues along with a drink or two. They also do separate Gin and Whiskey tours and I would recommend any of them.
A trip to Belfast and most will mention the Titanic. The Titanic Belfast visitor attraction extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition. Drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features.
One of the biggest attractions in recent times has been Game Of Thrones. There is a Giants Causeway and GOT experience tour which is very interesting if you are into it. If not the Giants Causeway and Antrim Coast are spectacular though better with transport.
Things to do for free, Belfast City Hall tour including the Titanic memorial. St George’s Market with its fresh food stalls, craft stalls, coffee, cake and music is well worth a look. Botanic Gardens is pretty good especially the rose garden. Right next door you have the The Ulster Museum with free entry is Northern Ireland's treasure house of the past and present, the museum is home to a rich collection of art, history and natural sciences with impressive galleries and interactive discovery zones.
Bars are plentiful but The Crown dates back to the 1880s and is popular with tourists but for a bit of life go to the Cathedral Quarter. Duke of York, Harp bar with Live Music, The Spaniard, Thirsty Goat. I would recommend Muriels, small and quaint with ladies underwear hanging from the ceiling (you don’t have to leave yours). The Tipsy Bird is nice for a quiet drink or several with some great live music through the day.
Oh and in any city the open top bus tour is a great way of seeing a bit of everything.
Hope you have a fantastic time and the locals are sure to entertain you regardless.
