Just wondering if there would be any interest in setting up a group for the over 50s. This would be with a view to having our own kik group or Whattsapp. Maybe there is one already!! Would love to hear peoples view on this please |

My thinking is most profiles on fab dont want to meet people of our age. Be interesting to see how feedback goes. PM me anyone who would be interested. Wouldnt want it to turn into a sausage fest though. |

Its a tricky one as lots of people in their 30s and 40s do meet people over 50.All suggestions are welcome. Of course manners are essential as well. |

It's been tried a lot on here over the years. problem is you get younger guys joining and mailing all the ladies. Plus you end up with 100s single guys. A few couples and the single female.
And after a few weeks everyone stop's doing any chats and every one leaves |

All ideas are welcome. I know there are people who arent 50 yet but do and have met over 50s and vice versa. Probably will out peoples noses out of joint, but thats life. Have removed filters so anyone can contact me with a message or a suggestion.P |

As much as we love the idea and the sentiment we think it would be just the usual sausage fest. Our experience with kik group chats is....great craic and banter to start with, then most guys ignore the group chat etiquette and chance their arm with the Mrs direct  . No matter how you try to sell it it's still the same old shite

I am under the age for this group.. And yes I know I have my filters set for low 50s only because some of the social meets I have guys who were meant to be in their 50s were actually well in their 60s. |

age is a number ... age may bring some wisdom but manners or how to behave...the younger guys get berated for being pushy, having no respect...but many at 50 are still just "lads" .. unfortunately we all get tarred with the one stick.
I would love to see a 50+ group in action but I think it should be for verified guys & couples. |
