Just have a headache reading profiles that consist of a list of DONTS. Dont contact me if you are and if you are and if your not.
I appreciate it thats its a pain the arse ifyou are getting 30 mails a day asking RUHORNY but honestly, folks, do you think putting on your profile dont send me one liners will stop the one liner brigade? Thats all they know after all!
Why cant profiles be a little bit positive and sort out the nightmares with filters or the delete/block button?
After all its a fun site, not a moan site |

unless there is a block option to stop people that cant string a sentence together, i dont know any other way to do it.
like you said, the morons will still do the moronic, but they are the whole reason its done, so maybe there should be a minimum message length.... |

Well I've only got in to the local scene recently here and okay, we're all like minded, open, sexual folk but you know we're strangers too. Strangers who tend to get very close very fast so it's fair in this case to go ahead and actually say things that usually go-without-saying. I wouldn't view this as negativity.
I've found that more selective people are well worth getting to know as it's the 'anyone anytime anywhere' brigade who cancel out on me the most.
And selectivity can also be seen as the voice of experience. I'm betting if you scan down through a profile someday and find yourself in a B&B with what appears to be a cross dressing bricklayer trying to work his cock into your ear canal that you'll have a 'DON'T WANT!' on your page the very next day.

i was very friendly and positive in my profile when i first joined, then got so fed up of hearing from guys who were either married or far too young I thought may as well be totally honest and save my time as well as others.
I dont have a problem if i'm not wot someone is looking for. Saves lot of time and bother if people are up front |

totally agree jimmy, found a few profiles saying 'easy going couple' or 'easy going girl' and then a 4 paragraph rant which just shows how HARD going they are... lots of DONT and WE NEVER... and GET A LIFE all over the page.
bit of advice on what we DO need to do would help us out alot! |

I sort of agree that there are a lot of very negative profiles on here. I think it depends how it's written but if all I see is 'DON'TS' it makes me wonder if this person is negative in real life too. |

"How about when you do write a long detailed message and still don't get a reply, kick in the nuts that is."
IF you read the profile properly, and you are certain you are what they are looking for, then a long mesage would always be answered, its only when you havent done so, why would anyone reply to you if you arent who they are looking for? |

yeah i think its the neverending debate with single guys and messaging...
hopefully the guys dont despair, but each side will have their concerns. we're not holding all the cards, its more in the hands of couples and they are free to decide who they meet and how. we cant get too annoyed with it at the end of the day.
bit more positivity on the profiles that helps the guys along is all thats needed! |
