We love them in this house , they arrive when the letters are written and then move location every night after they fly back to the North Pole and the kids run down stairs to check what place they are in that morning , they stay around for a little bit after Christmas and then head home . Sometimes leave little lettterd in baby writing on sticky notes with they’re small pens hahaha

I suppose it keeps the kids occupied at Christmas and still keeps them as ‘children’ so to speak as they grow up so quickly now and are exposed to a lot more shit nowadays at an earlier age than in my time. Personally, hate Elf on a Shelf but it makes someone happy, why not.

Have one small elf with magnets in his hands on the fridge. Kids behave lol I told my almost 6 yo son that there are few fairies hidden in his room looking after him and sending reports to Master Elf who then reports to Santa every morning. Im just wondering how long my little evil will believe in it
