You can get it lasered if you want a fairly permanent solution. Doesn't work with all hair/skin types and not on tattooed areas.

Can either go to a pro for it or get an EPL set for home use.

I got one of those and worked very well on legs/arms.

Not the cheapest option but saves time

Go to a beautician...they know what to do when it comes to waxing and have a consultation before hand in regards to your skin type,if there are any issues/contraindication present,eczema,spots etc,and that way they will know if stripless wax is the best solution (I always recommend it as it's easier to work with),for the back I always use strip wax ...but all depends in the preparation of the skin before waxing and maintaining the skin after waxing,plus warm wax it's great and not as sore as one may think if used with the right technique...it's not as complicated as it's sound either!

. If you afraid of a little discomfort,razor ...use hair conditioner instead of shaving gel...for whatever reason its better in all aspects

Yes, waxing is a good alternative to shaving. Just get it done at proper beautician, doing that for my back now and then as I cannot laser there due to my tattoo :S
