Anyone ever get stuck looking for a man to fix that leaky pipe....that broken light

I have a creaky floorboard in my bedroom.
It only creaks when you move a certain way in the bed
I’d have to show you, but it does drive me nuts.
Is this something within your capabilities? |

I'm an Electrical Engineer but I'd still have to double check a YouTube tutorial before changing a lightbulb...

Shot.... I’m no good with my hands, I can’t change a fuse in a plug or a light bulb but if anyone needs cheap cigarettes or tobacco then I’m your man..... I’ll even deliver within reason |

One once spent an hour after a meet fixing a ballcock on a toilet that had been overflowing for weeks, a dodgy overflow in an attic and was gonna go look at a blocked down pipe but her husband was coming home so I couldn’t

AHH yes...the good ol' tradesman ploy.... ...it really is a brilliant ..and genuine ...way of meeting the ladies in the real world ...so many are married to guys that just haven't a clue how to fix even the smallest of problems in their house...it's a serious way of meeting ladies ... honest. |

Thinking of buying a second hand kitchen. looks great. Any advice on this and how much to have a carpenter install?
Online, people generally have good experiences and have saved a fortune doing this. Have a lot of renovations to do, so wondering if this would be a good road to go down. |

Just be careful that the measurements etc of the one you're thinking of buying are within the same of your kitchen cause sometimes people buy second hand kitchens thinking they're great value and then the door openings and window openings in Their own kitchen don't suit the size of the units in the one they've bought especially as regards the wall units . depending of course in the money you're paying ,it's always well worth a visit to a cash & carry kitchen showroom ,l've fitted their stuff for people over the years and found that they are very good quality especially in the saucepan drawer units ..you just bring your kitchen size measurements and they do out all the unit sizes for you .of course you will get those that say they're rubbish but thats only them trying to promote their own stuff. |
