Tough game but I think they could have the beating of them with the home crowd behind them and a bit of good fortune.
On a side note I'm loving the new all green kit with the gold trim. Nicest Ireland kit for decades. Now if only you could buy a replica without the horrendous sponsor logo I'd consider getting one. |

Of course there is a chance though in my opinion very slim. I've watched every irish game since I was 11 years old. This campaign has been the worst, most frustrating one I've seen. No urgency..... ever. Can't string 5 passes together without getting caught or simply kicking it out of play.
I don't accept when people say we are just not good enough. They are professional footballers who consistently cant get the simple, schoolboy things right when they put the green jersey on, and could very well put a man of the match display for their club 6 days later. So infuriating to watch. But I will watch every minute and hopefully will be cheering when it's over  |

In relation to the OP a team like Ireland will always have a chance as they are able to keep it tight go into the last 15/20 mins level and who knows what can happen |

No the problem with the team is a lack of quality.
We are well capable of giving 100% for the cause but we serious lack quality and the ability to penetrate teams even in the Aviva.
The previous shout for Duffy to score first is bang on but the Danish have too much for us and will come out on top.

The beauty of sport is that anything can happen on any given day. We have been very poor and terrible to watch struggling to beat Gibraltar home and away and only scored 6 compared to denmarks 24. Form says 0-2 but stranger things have happened ?? |

I've been saying the playoff route is laughable this year. Belarus, who finished on four points, second from bottom in their group qualified for it before ireland but you know what...... I'll take it away to Wales or Bosnia I think  |
