Personal hygiene..

I can't be the only one to look at the backgrounds in pictures and judge people's personal hygiene based on how they keep their house/bed linen/grooming or general cleanliness? One profile I found had the same sheets on in all of the pics they posted which are weeks/months apart.

Assume loads are gonna accuse me of being vain, but the really don't have time nor tolerance to question personal hygiene when it's so important.

What's the signs you look out for?

Background, fingernails and toenails, bedsheets and towels, some of the items in the pics.

I take any hints from the above plus any alarm bells from the chat or comments on the forum.

It saves me a lot of hassle and time wasted.

A lot of photos are taken in hotel rooms & i pay no attention to linen, towels, floor etc.

If its house might a bit.

Its more persons hygiene itself & choice of images they put up e.g. all dick pics, 1 dick pic to 5 non or no images at all.

I don't think I've ever examined someone's pics so closely that I'd realise it was the same colour sheets on. Lol

A real mess might make me think would ya not tidy up before taking the pic but I don't think one pic would make me think the person is unhygienic. Now if they were dirty or had weird coloured cum or something in their pic ye that would def put me off and yes I've been sent a pics with both.

Maybe they changed the sheets each week and the photos just happened to be taken when the same sheets were in place ...a person's personal hygiene is top priority with me anyway but just because photos are taken with the same sheets etc in the back ground Certainly wouldn't put me off ..it's when you'd meet the person then selves plus it's very easy to let the person know exactly what you expect of them hygienically when chatting before hand.

I always do this

if their bedroom/bathroom is filthy in the background it doesn't realy entice you to meet them. I am talking about dirty not just untidy. It would turn me off

I dont inspect people's backgrounds but I totally get why others do it. As long as the person in the pic is clean I'm alright with that lol

I don’t normally check the background of pics, I’m more interested in the persons bodily hygiene which can be seen in pics and determined by chatting and reading their verifications. You’d be amazed, even though everyone says hygiene is important, the amount of people who’d turn up to a meet unshowered is scandalous. When arranging a meet I always stress “I’ll have a shower first and I’ll message you when I’m ready” hoping they get the hint & shower too.

We had a few meets and even suggested to take shower before didnt work.

Pity, how many adults dont care about their personal hygiene

Shave,shower,smell nice and condoms.

I can understand if its a daytime at your house or early evening work day meeting and youre clean but havent had a shower since that morning so you ask can I shower first when we meet.

Would someone object to a stranger using the shower in their house ...i don't think so probably get in with them

You can suggest or politely ask. It happened to us when been there as couple (we lived in the UK, now in Spain).

Im single now have a bf who is a swinger too. We know each other a while. Meeting other couples and girls from Spanish swinger website and all good re personal hygiene.

Is it a laziness? I have no idea but taking a quick shower before fun begin is a must.

There are people out there who only have one style and colour of socks, just to simplify things or maybe for some ocd reason.

Therefore I can imagine that there are people out there that have 10 bed sheets, all of the same color and all identical.

I don't much pay attention to background.. But seen few pics where background is what you notice first before them body..

About same sheets I agree but there might be people who do as I do sometimes - wash, dry and put same one in evening back up.

Personal hygiene-

It's easy dress up nice and sexy but fancy look doesn't mean they hygienic... And when guys say oh I smell good.. Yeah OK you can use aftershaves but if you not shower often enough aftershave won't help..

And actually personal hygiene is one of top reasons I'm chickening meet up new people

Thankfully we've never encountered anyone with poor personal hygiene, always give a good sniff when I lean in for that peck on the cheek. I'm not fond of housework but there's a difference between dirty and messy. And yeah, I'm one of those people who does wash, dry and put back on the bed where bedlinen in concerned. Never iron bedlinen though, so shoot me.

OP I concur fully with you and will also add this, some of you people need to modernise your wallpaper and decor! Dido rails aren’t so 80’s it’s frightening and your walls painted on the bottom and papered on the top is just sooooo out of date... spend a few quid on your decor you dirty baists... it’s almost 2020... grey and black is the in colour

While I agree that the backgrounds in some people's photos are particularly squalid, I wouldn't necessarily class having the same sheets in multiple photos as being unhygienic... I usually wash and dry mine and put them back on the same day! Likewise if someone is wearing the same lingerie or boxers in multiple photos, I don't assume they never change their underwear

It's the piles of dirty clothes scattered about among beer cans, mugs, pizza boxes, etc., that tend to make me go

... and I've seen that appear in women's photos as much as in men's ones.

Not exactly the same but the Grand Designs/RIAB House of the Year is in Norn Ireland and is all grey bottom half and white top half, inside and out, so your comment may not be "with the times"

Regarding bed sheets/quilt covers, I recently had to mail Miss Secret as her pic looked like she was using the Eiffel Tower as a dildo
