At a busy intersection so you have multiple escape vectors. if there can be a place you can look down upon the intersection while hiding, then thats good.
If the guy is genuine like me you can direct him to wave and identify himself in the crowd, and tell him you can see him and he will be happy to let you safely just check out he is real.
If he is not to your liking you can easily call it off then and there, and he wont know what to do other than go home. |

Sounds corny but I have lost count of the amount of times people asked me to go and stand somewhere that they could see from their apartment, or home without me being able to see them is crazy high. |
