In defence of the gentlemen, they can often spot these guys just as easily as us ladies can spot when our own gender are being fake. Hubby sometimes advises that I be careful of some men at work based only on passing comments from me, aghast as I may be when he warns me - he is yet to be wrong! |

Both sides of this 'argument' (bar the couples and scant few women replying), seem to assume that men need a 'method' to try and get women's attention on this site. Whether that be, to use the fucking odious phrase, 'white knighting' and or whether it's being all super anti-cool and calling it out and therefore being more 'genuine' and 'woke' then the knights.
Sozzels, but both sides are misogynistic as hell. Women, men, trans folk, anyone - aren't fucking prizes to be won. Not convinced or deluded by an act, an attitude or a persona. They're people. You don't treat people like a agenda. You treat them with respect, with empathy and with basic human decency.
If you want to fuck them - and there is a lot of people I want to fuck - you introduce yourself, try and strike up a conversation and if said person is interested in you sexually you'll receive a reply. Simples.
Getting so bent out of shape that you start a forum thread because you think some guy's 'method' is pathetic is pretty pathetic in of itself.

Now, I've seen a woman being ridiculed over her career by a guy here once, which I thought was dispicable for anyone to do and made my opinion known before... but would do the same for any man if I felt he was being unjustly savaged on the forums. So, I think there's a difference between standing up for someone on the forums & white knighting 
However, what's more subtle and amuses me more is when a guy makes a funny comment on the forums ...and then crickets, no response, nothing 
A woman makes a bland remark (yes it does happen here ladies ...) and all of a sudden you've 3 lads responding and agreeing with her
So, not only do you have the WHITE KNIGHTS, you also have the "NO BACK-BONE BOYS" , "men" who suppress their own opinions and instead opt for brown-nosing and agreeing with women in the hope of a meet...

Hmmm OK I never said I wasn't verified for 2 years I said I hadn't posted verifications as I don't actually need to I'm on here a few years but I've often taken extended breaks Im just not one of those who closes their profile and then comes back with a new one. As fore being straight gay bi or whatever that is what I posted when I started out on here. Since then I have tried many things but do I need to clarify my appetites for all and sundry? Nopes I don't. Also as you most undoubtedly know some people lose verifications when people leave the site. But hey Art that doesn't fit your agenda does it? |

At the end of the day, everyone on here is trying to get the ride, and I'd rather some "white knight" who you might actually get some conversation out of than the kind of guy who thinks that men who try to talk to, and empathise with, women are people to be insulted and belittled. |

Look of course there are guys in here who laugh a little too easiky at a hot womans post or has flexible views depending in who is posting. But they are the minority on here, most people as far as I see give a pretty honest opinion when posting.
As for actual white knighting I dont think it happens nearly as much as the people who shout about it think it does.

Not so much, but what I do find quite amusing is that the very people calling "White knighters" on this thread weak and laughable for being overly agreeable, are the same people who thought (in a thread posted twice last week) that all the guys who disagreed with that OP were weak and laughable. Now that's a bit funny, ironic and hypocritical all at once
