I've been made aware over recent months that people I knew from another site and who are now on Fab, and also people I have met through Fab, are being repeatedly catfished by a woman who has had multiple profiles with varying locations (most recently Carlow, currently Dublin). This woman is actually from the Wexford area and has now also approached my ex partner and his new gf in public on at least 2 occasions and made a scene. I can't name and shame, as forum rules prohibit me from doing so (and more than likely she'll just set up another new profile and start again). Her profiles are always verified and she has quite attractive public photos... So be on your toes folks!  |

Honestly I couldn't say if it was just coincidental. But why approach someone in a vanilla setting when they're in company and make a scene? Why tell someone you've never met that the person they're with is or was a swinger and call them by their username? Luckily his gf was aware, but they were in a public place and it was a very embarrassing and uncomfortable situation to be put in. |

Perhaps not, only those who have been or are being affected by experiences like this can decide if it's worth a reminder that these things do happen, and to be aware of it.
It's one of those horrible situations anyone can find themselves in, not just on Fab, but in any aspect of life, where someone's behaviour is affecting friends or family. The difference with it being on Fab is that you have to struggle with the choice of remaining discreet, saying nothing about someone's behaviour, while knowing that it may continue and that more friends may be affected, or being loyal to those you know, respect, and admire, and making them aware that they are at risk. I didn't make the decision to post this thread lightly... It's not my style, and maybe there is a better way, but aside from individually contacting everyone I've ever met or spoken with, I didn't see one.  |

You did well to post it on the forum.
It goes well and smooth for a lot of people here, due to the way they pick the ones to interact with, but most of the time it is just due to pure luck.
I've only experienced ghosting on Fab.
I've yet to "taste" being stood up or even worst, be confronted in a public place about a previous Fab meet or chat, just because I was recognised from a face pic swap God knows how long ago.  |

Too many on here pulling stunts like this. My best mate had to leave over a guy in here who was similar he hassled her for months after she met him. Gave her personal info to others and shared private pics as well. He Has multiple profiles and despite being reported is still on here so she left. |

Gets worse every week, I had to block 3 this morning alone. Got one mail from a well verified single profile - there was a photo attached of a very curvy woman in lingerie and the only words written were “would you?” |
