So! My friend and I will be visiting Waterford and Wexford the weekend of the 15th November. Any suggestions on good places to go and stay? Tour guides welcome ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

Depending on what you want to see really & where you're going.
Waterford city? Head out to Tramore. Can do a walk on the Doneraile & drive across to Dunmore East from there for a potter around & some good grub!

Could also take a spin out to Guillamene's in waterford for a swim and maybe do the Metal man walk too, plus plenty of entertainment and food in the apple Market on weekends |

If you're in Wexford town of an evening, the Sky and The Ground pub is a must.
Theres different areas for every kind of mood and one of the best beer selections going. My favourite pub when I'm down there.
The Crown is another good one.
Have a great time and do make sure to visit some of the best beaches in Ireland there for a walk, as you ain't sunbathing anywhere in Ireland in November
Though, if you are getting your kit off, do give me a shout ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

Lots to see in both counties, but Waterford-Wexford is a vast area, and if you're only here for a weekend, you may find it easier to just pick a particular location to base yourself and explore, otherwise you'll spend more time driving than you will relaxing.
Also... Depending on what you like to do, different towns and villages have different things to offer. Lots of historical locations and tours, culture to be soaked up, and a fantastic variety of food.
If you're driving, I take it you're coming in through Rosslare Europort? Head for Wexford town JD gave you some great examples of pubs there already, and food-wise you'll find everything from Asian to Tex-Mex, but be prepared to spend... One thing our UK visitors always comment on... We've got lots to offer, but we're not cheap![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

"Emilianos is a fantastic restaurant. The service is amazing. "
Yes ,this is a seriously good Italian restaurant ,in Waterford city ,which you would definitely want to book in advance to guarantee getting a table. |

"I have no idea what either of those things are but YES haha"
Enniscorthy is a town in Wexford. And vinegar hill is about the only good thing in it lol. It is where a famous battle took place |
