When setting up a profile and selecting a body type, it’s all too easy to go and select above average...but where is the dad body option?

I've a dad body and proud of it, yes I could get into better shape but I'm sure like most on this we have kids, jobs, etc which leaves little time to worry about our 6 packs lol. |

So there seems to be a difference of opinion..... Since happy with a dad bod and others seeming to think that dad bod owners have just "let themselves go"!!!?!
Well at least they're dues seem to be more than enough in the DBAS (Dad Bod Appreciation Society) to make us happy eh lads |

A dad bod can be a wide range of body type in my opinion...i just understood it to be a person who for one reason or another hasn't time to commit to a gym and the hard work required to get that toned ripped look..personally I work loads and when I'm not working I've my kids..my only work out is running after them crazy little fuckers.. I love food..I mean LOVE it and that doesn't help either hahaha..but its surely subjective..what I think will never be what another another thinks..I dont like the idea saying someone "let them selves go".. |

Often wish there was a Fab area for perfectly toned folk with poor attitude. Maybe then, we (non perfectly toned folk) wouldn't have to read the regular body shaming comments in these forums etc.
Maybe body shaming comments should be removed by admins.
Tough enough for some folk to post photo's here without the negative comments that can come from doing so.
We like folk of all sizes but above all we love fun and respectful folk.
There are times we read the forum or meet sections and think, wow, should we take a break to go work out some and come back when better toned.
Then we laugh and just say "feck em" lets just continue happy in our own skin and enjoy our adventures.

I've met guys with amazing bodies that are absolutely lovely and not abit cocky and I've met guys with not great great bodies that are total ass holes and totally up themselves. |

A personality category would be good I.e if you don’t reply to my message and give me the answer I want and meet now I am going to call you a fat ugly c**t would save a lot of self confidence problems and having a block list bigger than a hotlist but this is totally not specific to those who describe themselves as athletic  |

Technically I am in the early stages of dadboditus. After the latest addition to our clan I hardly have time to put on socks nevermind ones that match. I haven't seen the inside of a gym in 6 months and to be honest I don't miss it one bit. Priorities and all that.
But lads if there's a free dad bod t shirt going I'll up my game to get to XL before xmas |

agree. If you want abs, go get abs, if you don't, don't. But don't run down the guys that have made the effort.
Your body doesn't define your personality.
There was a thread that was basically body shaming people that go to the gym recently, and this one has turned into the same. All done while giving out about body shaming |

Be proud of what you have weather it be dad body or ripped everybody’s life and situation is different,personally I’d love to be ripped but due to life work kids etc ohh and my love for yummy food I’m happy with what I have... |
