Yes l fully agree and respect that Brexit could bring a whole bunch more of other issues but these are things that the Government were to give back to the people when things straightened out...BOI made €1.25 Billion Profit last year ..did even 1cent of that go back to those whose wages were pillaged and plundered to bail them out ?..AIB don't have to pay tax on profits for the next 20 years..while everyone else gets screwed ..it's totally wrong ... |

It's a tax on people who cant afford an alternative.
They were letting CEO of companies buy Tesla tax free. Let that sink in, nearly every tesla you see driving in, was a 100 grand purchase tax free.
The rule was brought in to get workers to buy electric but none did because they cant charge the cars. It was getting so bad that they had to put a cap on the electric car tax break, cause people were ordering half a million euro electric supercars.
These people live in homes that are fully insulated and use modern heat exchange systems, they dont even use oil to heat their homes. |

You get what you deserve and deserve what you get!! This country has been plundered by the two main parties for years yet we refuse to not elect them. It's a fact that the next government will be a Fianna Fail government. People have very short memories |

This is it exactly..FG are the party of taxes and austerity..they clean up the mess left behind after fianna fail open the purse strings and throw money away on stupid things..its always been like this history repeats itself but what is the alternative ..sinn fein? Labour?..parties like these are only a thorn in the side they arent big enough to form a government so this Fine gael Fianna fail seesaw will continue indefinitely |

FG did a blanket promise on the banks. They dont have the money to back that up.
So they restricted the ability of Irish people to borrow, they increased the ability of international companies to buy, and they let Irish people go homeless.
This isn't cleaning up, this is just lunacy. The houses are being rented to the council at what? 90% of the market rate, and the council then has to keep up all repairs. So at the end of the lease the council often has to put in a new kitchen, new toilets, hand over a deposit, retrofit any wear and tear.
It's inept.
Austerity can be helped with lowering cost of living, lowering rent prices, blah blah blah, this is just the goverment making out like bandits. |

Also all these state bodies are plundering money. I’ve heard of guys tendering for jobs at absolute out of this world prices and getting them. One guy tendered for s job for the hse and got it. He made 5000 euro clear profit for three hours work that he actually subbed out to another contractor. |

I agree and, for the first time in my life, next election, neither FG/FF will get my first vote.
I've a long memory, which comes back to me in flashes but I'm sick of all the hollow promises and lies, fuckers lining their own pockets and the parish pump politics.
Next time I'm putting Sinn Fein in and won't that be interesting!
Boris may have more to worry about than he thinks |

See I'm with the fist part of this. €1per 50 litres sounds odd to me.
See the specific gravity of diesel is .850 give or take a little. That would mean a tonne of diesel is about 1180 litres per tonne. Meaning that, that should only be about 4 cents extra per 50 litres.
But what do I know? it all confuses me as the government does there best to compare apples to orange's so people are always second guessing the changes they make |

I fully 100% believe you ,workers for the HSE themselves ,the ones on the bottom of the food chain now not the ones on lotto style wages ,their wages are ripped to bits with pension levies and USC's BUT yet the HSE can give out lotto style contracts to contractors and not bat an eye lid ,l know where the HSE were leasing a 3 story house for office staff ,€90,000 a year and they had to take out a 10 yr lease ...€900,000 ...and that's 1 house...they're already gone over €281 million over budget since July ...is there any wonder when you'd see that craic going on ... |
