Your pics... Your reasons

Most of us have photos on here, and for the majority of people they are an advertisement, a way to attract potential meets. Those of us not looking for meets often get asked why we still upload new pics (or even what we are still doing here at all)...
Personally I upload for 2 different reasons... Either because I'm having a giggle taking part in a daft forum photo challenge, or to take a brief moment out of a fairly unsexy day doing my job, looking after an ill parent after work, and juggling a multitude of other familial responsibilities and commitments, to remind myself that despite everything life throws at me, I can still be a somewhat sexy, desirable woman at times, and I'm proud of that.
So go on ladies and gents... What do your pics mean to you? Not to everyone else... Just you  |

I love that! You're totally right to find a tiny bit of time in your day to do something that makes you feel sexy. Well done you!
I think mine are a combination of advertising myself to new men, teasing old ones and like you, making myself feel sexy. |

True... Most of us would be arrested if we expressed ourselves in public as we do through our photos... So I suppose the element of being a bit risqué when you're not in public has an added attraction |

I've found here it's more about being respectfull, Banter will only get you so far. you never know when you are crossing the line. pics are there because I know some people will find me attractive. if I was putting down a patio nude in a pic would that attract more. who knows. |

My pictures tbh are just given to those that show interest in me for me , l fully understand and respect that if a guy doesn't show any type of pictures from the off it Seriously restricts his chances of attracting any type of female interest but if a lady doesn't or can't stimulate my mind in some form through chatting or if l can't keep her Interested without photo then it was never a starter in the first place ...l need to feel l stimulate a lady's mind to let her know how much l need to be with her and visa versa ...for me ,sex with that is way better... |

Easy to forget isn't it? Sometimes I think folk have this idea that we're all lounging about in stockings and suspenders all day long with nothing better to do, but the reality is far different. I take a few minutes most mornings to take a pic, particularly if there's good natural light, and might upload at some point during the day, but there are plenty of days too when I just feel too frumpy and unattractive to even look at myself brushing my teeth, let alone take a photo  |

I've found here it's more about being respectfull, Banter will only get you so far. you never know when you are crossing the line. pics are there because I know some people will find me attractive. if I was putting down a patio nude in a pic would that attract more. who knows. "

I'll upload new pic's if I'm feeling good about myself as other's have said a way to brighten up a boring day/week. Obviously your pic's are the first thing people see that will either attract someone or not but I love getting chatting to someone when you forget about pic's and just enjoy the chat and banter. Nothing drive's me more mad than continously getting asked for more pic's. It's a serious turn off |

Interesting approach. So you prefer to provide no visuals at all then until a late stage? I'm curious now though... Will you mail someone with a blank profile yourself? One with no visuals? How do you determine that someone with a blank profile may be of interest to you? |

Apart from the closet exhibitionist in all of us, i generally try to keep it down in the public pics and hopefully just have a giggle with em, (hope i not got any mickey shots there currently) hope to have a hook to tempt a conversation. |

Now that you've pointed it out, I've just realised that I very rarely get asked for 'more' pics anymore... I get random friend requests alright in the hope of finding something more spicy in my friend only photos, but my friend only ones are just boring old face pics... So they're missing nothing when I don't accept the friend request really. Thinking about it, it was probably only once I was chatting to someone on kik or in a kik group that the 'more pics' requests would start... Clear sign of a pic hunter.
Like you, I love it when the pics just fade into the background after they've done their initial job, and just the conversation and chemistry are enough to make you smile |

I do it because I like some of the photos I take and I never saw myself like that before I joined. It gives me a lift and it is somewhere I can put this pics as well rather than on my phone. And its nice when people compliment me on some of mine I often compliment others on theirs as well. |

We do it cause it makes us feel really good. We love sharing what we get up to when we get a few mins away from everyday normal life.

We do it because like others have said, it's good to reconnect with yourself as a sexy desirable person when life is placing constant demands on you. It's nice to get positive comments (even the OTT ones are good for a laugh!), also Lee gets a kick from knowing other men desire me  |

I used be here before.. But left now back again but no meets yet.. And some have asked why then I post pics.. Well..
I have lost my confidence. I don't feel sexy. I have lost Mojo or whatever its calls.. I started feel like nun..fab used to be great boost for me in this all before when was here last.. So who knows..maybe this time miracles happens too and with taking photos and posting them I'm trying remind to myself who Im, who I was..

Advertising is a part of it. Naughty playfulness is an other. A hint of personality in the pics. And it can help lift an otherwise dull evening too and if it gets some positive feedback, then that's a bonus, we all need a little ego boost sometimes. |

That's actually a good point about how you see yourself before joining sites like this. My very first photos weren't even picked or uploaded by me, as my ex partner set up our profile, so it was a surprise to me how well they were received. Don't get me wrong, I had a healthy amount of cynicism too to keep me grounded and not suddenly think I was God's gift, but yeah, to have people see me as he saw me, and find that attractive was definitely a bonus Good point Bo!

Nailed it on two points big time - finding a like minded group and the point about how we seen ourselves before joining the site.
Definitely cynicism needed but it has been a huge confidence boost to a couple that felt for a long time we didn't fit and should hide away cause we didn't fit in. It has had a very positive effect on our own personal relationship, we are more open and talk about a lot more wider topics then ever.

Sometimes I come in from the gym, have my shower, look in the mirror and think 'yup, I'm looking okay today, must show it off.' Hated how my body looked for much of my first 20+ years, so I'm quite liking being content with it now in middle age!
If anyone else likes it, well, obviously that's a bonus! |

"Sometimes I come in from the gym, have my shower, look in the mirror and think 'yup, I'm looking okay today, must show it off.' Hated how my body looked for much of my first 20+ years, so I'm quite liking being content with it now in middle age!
If anyone else likes it, well, obviously that's a bonus!
Maybe there's a touch of that awkward self-conscious child/teen in us all most of the time... Just now and then you catch a glimpse of yourself and think 'whoa... I look good today'. "

A lot of body consciousness seems to come from mainstream media. Whether it's TV, film or print, there are always beautifully presented perfect people. But if Fab has taught me anything, it's that in reality there is no ideal, everyone finds beauty in different things, shapes and sizes, and those who find you beautiful, inside or out, will gravitate towards you and appreciate you for who you are. |

Yeah I agree and thanks. Biggest battle I have is confidence wise with myself and it's something I'll always be working on. Trying to appreciate my qualities more |

I tend to post lingerie pics before an actual proper meet usually. I don't actually go around dressed in holdups etc every day.
Other times I am just bored and looking for attention and maybe new chats. |

"Most of us have photos on here, and for the majority of people they are an advertisement, a way to attract potential meets. Those of us not looking for meets often get asked why we still upload new pics (or even what we are still doing here at all)...
Personally I upload for 2 different reasons... Either because I'm having a giggle taking part in a daft forum photo challenge, or to take a brief moment out of a fairly unsexy day doing my job, looking after an ill parent after work, and juggling a multitude of other familial responsibilities and commitments, to remind myself that despite everything life throws at me, I can still be a somewhat sexy, desirable woman at times, and I'm proud of that.
So go on ladies and gents... What do your pics mean to you? Not to everyone else... Just you "
