Curious if anyone here had boudoir photography done or fine art nude..

there is a myth that irish are more shy about this compared to Europeans..

is it a myth ?

I was most fortunate to work with the very beautiful and talented photographer @truefrosts.She has a profile here. Some of my boudoir shoot pictures are on my profile. It was such a great experience and a big confidence boost.

I am guilty at looking at your photos on a few occasions.

and yes it is great for confidence and something you always have to look back at..

I've done it a few times and thought it was really fun. I can definitely see why it helps women feel more confident.

This is something that I have on my to do List. I'd love to do an old Hollywood style boudoir shoot. something very erotic in black and white.

When I was in my 20s an artist friend asked if I would sit nude for him, back then I was way too shy, sorry now that I didn't.

Having a boudoir photography session doesn't interest me, although I can admire the pics others here have had taken.

Yes, I've done a few shoots. I enjoyed it, and have some great pics. They were mainly outdoor,.not boudoir. Naked man with chainsaw, hot sweaty and dirty sort of thing.

The missus organised one for some of our fab lady friends a few months ago and they loved it with another one planned for a few weeks from now, the results, to my eyes, were amazing

Think we are not so much reserved but Ireland is such a small place some get nervous about getting outed or recognised

It's something I've considered doing lots of times. Even have an absolutely exquisite setting picked out! I have a few friends, both male and female, who are excellent professional photographers, but I'm actually a bit shy about letting them see this side of me. I did put forward the idea of organising a boudoir shoot social here before, but there wasn't much interest.

I went for a boudoir shoot after the birth of our last child unbeknownst to my husband. It was amazing, the pics were beautiful, it did wonders for my confidence and my husband loved his surprise.
