...when you casually click on a profile you see on a forum post, only to get the message that they have blocked you, despite you never knowingly having interacted with them in any way.
Wonder would fab consider adding a feature whereby when you block someone, you have to add some context by clicking on a radio button so that they can understand and can learn from it. For example:
I am choosing to block this person, because:
(A) They are not my type answer I don't want them to message me
(B) I don't like their comments on the forum
(C) I think they are a dick
(D) They are way too kinky for my taste
(E) I don't like their Green credentials
(F) Their profile offends me
(G) They offend me with their views
(I) Their use of grammar and spelling is appalling
At least then a person might get an idea of what it is they did wrong

Ive been blocked by many on here that as far as I can remember had no contact with in the past i just came across there profile or seen a forum thread that interested me went to have a look and found i was blocked its women more often than couple's or men.... |

never really given a shit whose blocked us and why. if we do come across someone who has us blocked we just block them to avoid them lifting said block to snoop and reblock us. have blocked people from our time on the site in the past for numerous reasons including them being drama llamas as well as supremely negative or toxic people. |

I’ve started to block people who delete my messages. It’s just so I don’t inadvertently send them another message in the future and be accused of “not taking a hint” there’s no malice intended in my blocking them. Oh and I have blocked my sister too..... |

Am I the onky one who clicks on all the profiles on these threads to see who has me blocked?
I dont think you should need to give a reason though.
Im blocked by a local profile because the last time they were here I send them a screen shot of the google image they stole one of their pics off... they probably wouldnt give that as the reason on the feedback form though |

Nope, I have to, cause you can get banned for contacting someone who has you blocked on the forums.
I'm blocked by loads, but only really block people who follow me from thread to thread and harrass me, or people who have blocked me.
I would never block someone for having a different opinion to me, even one I hated. |
