Blur - It's funny because I went on my own, because no one I knew was going. But when i got there I bumped into loads of friends and people I knew.
They used to be afraid to invite me places in case trouble started. Even though never once did trouble start when out with them, because I would watch my behaviour around them.
However, seen as I arrived on my own, I didn't have to watch my behaviour around them, and had one of the best gigs ever, moshing, crowd surfing, I was doing the whole lot. Good fun. |

Top 10 would be really hard, 3 is almost impossible. But this is a start.
Guns N’ Roses (4) 91 wembley stadium, my first big gig, NIN and skid row played support. Life changing gig for an impressionable teenager.
Leftfield Glastonbury 2000
Placebo in the Olympia 2015

1. Iron Maiden in 2008 on the 'Somewhere Back In Time' tour was epic.
2. Metallica in 1996. My first metal gig and I was just blown away.
3. Gonna go all hipster here now and say Slomatics in 2006. They're a Doom/Sludge Metal band from Belfast. That gig introduced me to a genre that is one of my favourite genres to this day.

Huge Salute to you my friend...totally Brilliant for you.. definitely the greatest touring period of AC/DC's lifetime...the POWERAGE tours gig in Glasgow went on to be the IF you want Blood live album...the songs and lyrics after Bons passing would never reach the same level ... |

Best concert I ever attended was The Killers. I’ll struggle to ever recreate his good a gig that was, even if I went to see them again, there’s just a whole background story and a reason for going that all culminated in the best concert ever.
Big music fan though and other favourite concerts include:
Mumford & Sons
Ed Sheeran
The Coronas (seen them over 20 times now & they keep getting better)
Kodaline
Walking on cars
Paolo Nutini
Florence & the machine
The academic
Picture this
Hermitage Green
I could keep on going with the amount of concerts I’ve gone to and I’ve no intention of stopping any time soon. |

Was at Glastonbury 2000. Bowie was spellbinding. It was almost like an out of body experience. |

Stafford bingley hall was the best when Angus somehow appeared on a mini circular platform which came out the floor in the middle of the audience about 20 feet from me playing some solo or other |

Everyone will have their own take on the best guitarists etc etc but no one touches him in my eyes for what he does and how he does it when he hits the stage...simply amazing... |

Was at Sziget in 2008. It's where I saw that Iron Maiden gig I mentioned earlier in the thread.
I haven't been to many festivals, was never big into them, but Sziget is/was fantastic. |

Sziget is awesome and it has grown so much...I was there 1st time 25 yrs ago the difference was mad..never mind the fact that for 300 eur there you get to be at a festival for a week.. |

" Yeah when I was there we didn't commit to the week as we thought we'd do some things around Budapest, but ended up going up to the festival for the 5 days we were there.
€20 for a day ticket.
Great week. |

"Stiff little fingers, we saw them in Dublin and Belfast in Aug.
The Specials
Then a toss up between UB40 or Madness.
Mr."
Seems we have a lot in common !!
SLF Ulster Hall
the Specials - take your pick of St George’s, Bangor or Custom House Square
UB40 when they were the best reggae act in Uk -1982 Whitla Hall Belfast - concurrent Sat and Sun gigs
Could add several Thin Lizzy gigs as being amongst the best I’ve seen not to mention Ash, The Damned, and Bad Manners up there too!
Perhaps less fashionable but saw the Killers a couple of times and they’re a class act live |

"Well jeal of anyone who seen Prince/Bowie/Queen "
I only saw prince once, it was 2002. He completely blew me away. He is without a doubt the best musician & entertainer I have ever seen. He could switch between instruments with ease while singing and dancing.
Definitely one of the best guitarists ever. |

We're loving your taste in music.
Hopefully we'll be back over in August again for SLF if the line up is decent.
We have seen Bad Manners loads of times and going to see them again in Nov. X
