Blur - It's funny because I went on my own, because no one I knew was going. But when i got there I bumped into loads of friends and people I knew.

They used to be afraid to invite me places in case trouble started. Even though never once did trouble start when out with them, because I would watch my behaviour around them.

However, seen as I arrived on my own, I didn't have to watch my behaviour around them, and had one of the best gigs ever, moshing, crowd surfing, I was doing the whole lot. Good fun.

1. Iron Maiden in 2008 on the 'Somewhere Back In Time' tour was epic.

2. Metallica in 1996. My first metal gig and I was just blown away.

3. Gonna go all hipster here now and say Slomatics in 2006. They're a Doom/Sludge Metal band from Belfast. That gig introduced me to a genre that is one of my favourite genres to this day.

Best concert I ever attended was The Killers. I’ll struggle to ever recreate his good a gig that was, even if I went to see them again, there’s just a whole background story and a reason for going that all culminated in the best concert ever.

Big music fan though and other favourite concerts include:

Mumford & Sons

Ed Sheeran

The Coronas (seen them over 20 times now & they keep getting better)

Kodaline

Walking on cars

Paolo Nutini

Florence & the machine

The academic

Picture this

Hermitage Green

I could keep on going with the amount of concerts I’ve gone to and I’ve no intention of stopping any time soon.

Stafford bingley hall was the best when Angus somehow appeared on a mini circular platform which came out the floor in the middle of the audience about 20 feet from me playing some solo or other

Everyone will have their own take on the best guitarists etc etc but no one touches him in my eyes for what he does and how he does it when he hits the stage...simply amazing...

Yeah when I was there we didn't commit to the week as we thought we'd do some things around Budapest, but ended up going up to the festival for the 5 days we were there.

€20 for a day ticket.
