Out of curiosity where are there if in deed there are pubs in Dublin City centre that you'd associate with particular counties, so those in exile from a particular county working in Dublin knew where other folk from back home could be met..
For eg I know a pub at the bottom of Camden Street overlooking the canal at portobello was very much a donegal/derry pub.
It maybe with the Internet it's something of a bygone era... Just curious.. |

Yep..agreed there Flannery's and Copper's night club. Most other pubs on camden street are wuite diverse in terms of clientelle..but thats the good thing. The bernard shaw is also a great spot . Very mixed crowd. And the pizza in the back in the blue bus is lovely with a pint |

I know the pubs.. Just wondered if any had connections to particular counties..
My favorite 2 bars are toners and o'niells by Leeson Bridge on canal.. Always have a pint in.. Is it the castle on the corner in back streets between grafton Street and covered market.. Back of powers court house shopping mall.. When passing.. |

Ah with you...
No longer a lunchtime pint person.. But for some reason if in vacinity always had a pint there. Would sit outside and PW... There used to be a very good busker who played in locality coloured guy.. Had a good repertoire...
(problem with buskers in Dublin they're all good) |
