OK here's the deal, friend of mine who I have had flirtatious chats with and banter and general piss taking. (pretty equal from both sides) Just informed me that my messages were inappropriate ( remember hers are as good/bad as mine) and then pulled the "I have a boyfriend now" card. Thing is I honestly couldn't give a fuck about anything but the way it was worded. Now before the Whitey Knighteys come galloping to her rescue with the she can choose to change the dynamics any time malarkey I have removed her from all social media and have no intention of making first contact with her again. If the roles were reversed I would have just been up front saying I am now in a relationship so can we cool the jets on the flirting etc. Anyway thats that. |

it was taking the piss of each other the odd flirts which were never going to be acted on because we both knew it wasn't worth the hassle there. Mostly banter and pisstaking. |

Maybe she thought you were attempting to escape the friend zone and she just put the breaks on.
I don't know your situation but you said you both are friends. Are you really just friends?
Personally I wouldn't be sending flirty texts to a girl unless I was somewhat interested in more than friends.
If we were indeed just friends, then yeah, we'd have banter, but I wouldn't be giving any signs that I wanted anything more. |

when I say flirtatious it was just like "hola good lookin any craic today" nd the likes never anything serious just friendly. wasn't interested in anything else I am like that with practically every female friend I have and they all laugh about it. |

Forget her as you clearly intend to.
Its annoying when people change the goal posts or use silly excuses to avoid what they think might be a harsher truth but its probably for the best in the long run |

Leave her off is she hasn't the manners to actually just ask you to stop. I text a friend regularly and we are always slagging each other. If I wanted it to stop I would just say it straight out.

I dont see what your problem is.
All the time girls stop talking to me in any sort of flirty way when they get a boyfriend. A lot of them stop talking to me 100% not a whisper. Some remove me from social media and then come back to readd me when they break up.
I think they are right to, because I personally believe its not right to put yourself in situations where cheating may occur. If they believe that situation could happen with me, even if I dont think it would, then its fair play to cut me out. |

There was a lady that l was once stoned cracked about..she was separated about 3 yrs ,she texted me wanting me to call over .but it was wayyyyyyyyyy too soon after my own split..2 weeks ...so l told her l couldn't at the time ..months later ,l sent a text saying that if she ever wanted to chat etc to drop a line...the following day she met me to say she had a boyfriend and he saw my text and he went ballistic and to delete her number...l honestly did NOT know she had a new BF..and felt desperate that l sent the text even unknowingly of her new situation but she handled it in the only way she would ..classy and sexy ... |
