The jury's still out of how it's properly made but let's get your opinion
I personally go Teabag, water, stir, teabag out, milk, sugar, enjoy!
Many would disagree but it's a no brainer for me |

Amateurs. Right, get a mug, not a cup, that's only for your granny, so a mug. Tea bag in, any brand you want except own brand. Hot water in. Leave for minimum 2 minutes, if you like it weak, or 3 to 4 for strong. Now for the important bit, remove tea bag but under no circumstances should you squeeze the bag. This is the key. Then milk and sugar to suit your own taste bearing in mind that no milk is just wrong. |

Leave the tea-bag in perfect with just milk, but don't add milk for about 3mins, Gold Blend tea is the best |

Why not squeeze the bag |

Apparently it releases tannins or something that makes it bitter. |

Take teabag, throw it in the bin. Open jar of coffee, add one teaspoonful to a mug (teaspoonful, I know. The irony). Fill three quarters with hot water, top it off with milk, add one teaspoonful sugar, stir x number of times anti clockwise (with x being the number of years old you are) and hey presto, the perfect cup of tea.
P.S. is teaspoonful even a word, or have I just made that up? Lol |

Yup. Also some monsters put the milk in first as apparently it stops the boiling water from burning the tea.
If I don't trust a person to make a good cup I'll ask for a coffee. |

If using a teapot, pre warm it with boiling water. Empty this water into your mug to take the chill off that too. Tea really needs HEAT ( hence never add the milk first). Put 2 tea bags into a regular sized teapot or if using leaf tea; I tsp per person and 1 for the pot. Fill with boiling water and leave for 4-5 mins . Very gently lift out bags giving a gentle squeeze ( not a hard squeeze otherwise this makes tea bitter). If using leaf tea, pour tea through a mini strainer into your pre warmed mug. Add sugar to taste and a small dash of semi skimmed milk. Done. |
