How do you feel about people having their face pics public or their profile pic as their face pic?
Me personally it makes me a little uneasy fair play if they don’t care that people know they’re on here but I do question their discretion.
Also if you’re going to meet them publicly other fabbers could be about and online out 2+2 together which leaves you potentially exposed /open

All depends how much of a shit you give really! I'd be totally against it, I don't want anyone knowing I am on here. I don't even have it on Friends Only pics anymore - it only ever gets attached to a message as conversation starts flowing with someone... |

I admire their confidence but due to my job my face will always be hidden. I would like to show my face as not ashamed of being a swinger but i cannot afford to lose my job and i would if my face was recognised. |

If we see a guy with his face pic up to us it says he's not shy about being known as a swinger and would have no problem outing us
If we see a woman, espicelly a younger one, we assume it's fake, we know this might not always be true but best to be safe than sorry |

What do you think of people who either insist on a face photo if you are going to message them or if you've already been chatting they ask one and you get into the you go first scenario? |

I don’t expect a face pic straight off the bat and think it’s unfair on those who insist I’ve no issue sharing mine after chatting for a bit and if I’ve gotten one and not found them attractive I still send mine in the interest of balance and fairness and just told them they’re not for me |

If they ask for a face pic the request should be accompanied by their face pic simples |

I've been to lots of social events.... There are literally hundreds of Fabbers who know my face If anyone is worried about being seen with me, they can choose not to... My existing friends don't seem too concerned about it |

We will have to continue making eyes at each other across the bar, breaking eye contact whenever anyone looks at us. |

We admire people who does that and we show some of our faces on the profile but we wouldn't be brave enough to show full face. And on the other hand the thrill of not knowing exactly and suspecting who's hidden under pix is very exciting time for us! |

In the past I wouldn't have been bothered. But after being contacted by a few people I know personally and professionally, I don't think I would put a face pic up.
I've already had a I know who you are mail from someone. |

I used to show my face pics on my profile publicly as I don't see any shame in being a swinger. It's not something I go looking to tell everybody but it's not something I would deny either. That doesn't mean I don't understand other people's need for discretion which I fully respect.
Many people have their reasons for wanting to remain anonymous.
It's for that reason I started hiding my face pics again as I have a partner who wishes to remain anonymous due to her family circle and her work. |

I met a girl for a tea, she knows I have my face up here and other places, and we were sitting and she said "that couple over there keep looking at you, I think they recognise you from one of your sites"
I looked at them and said "no idea who they are", then took another sip of my peppermint tea.
The thought of them approaching was a very exciting one for her, she was asking what I would do, and I said id tell them to fuck off that Im with someone from work... then I said, "unless you wanted to try some stuff".
But of course they never approached us. No one ever has approached me, and sometimes I write where I will be and what I will be wearing as status updates for a laugh, no one has ever approached a family member or anyone I know either.. |

I guess you could say you’ve been fortunate enough that you haven’t been maybe it’s a little different for men too they may be fearful you’d kick off lol. |

I got those 'I know who you are' type messages when I didn't have a public face pic.... I don't anymore |

To be in your company it's a honour... Cause you are wonderful . And yes... I know her years "
An honour! Bloody hell Slappy.... And there was me feeling bad for all those late nights you ended up carrying my high heels around Dublin because my poor little piggies were tired... If I'd known it was such an honour you could have carried my handbag too! |

This whole thread made me uneasy.
As a person who has their face photo up on a regular basis:
1. I am not doing anything immoral or illegal so don't feel the need to hide behind anonymous shield.
2. I am not a celebrity, not paranoid about "being seen" and "talked about" by other people.
I am fully aware that some may recognize me down the street and it's perfectly fine as I've yet to see the day when anyone from real would approach me about it. People generally have better things to do than lurk around crowded areas trying to spot a fabber.
3. Discretion- you're not a celebrity either, nobody is here to "out" you to others. Only I know who I meet and what I do with them.
People, who have their faces up are more likely to be open and honest about their intentions. They're less likely to be secretly attached too.
They will not send you abuse or brownmail like the ones who hide behind anonymous profiles often do.
I used to get annoying messages like "I know who you are, now who's laughing" on a weekly basis. Not once have I received one now.
Yes, I have come across people I know in real life. Ex co-workers, friends of friends etc. People I've never dreamed of having any conversations about fab with, but it was all just fine. End of the day - we're all here for different reasons and are taking different paths.

Well the two women above with their faces shown havent been bothered either.
I'm not saying everyone needs to show their faces. I am saying all the fears or reasons for not posting a face above, simply do not apply to me.
The only time people online (not on this site) have tried to "Out me" saying they recognize me, etc was when I was hiding my face. Posting my face and details about myself ended that behavior.
The idea that me showing my face makes me a higher risk to out people, is nonsense too, as they can much more easily find out my full info than I can theirs. I am easily traceable by them if I mess about or if I waste their time. I am easily identifiable to the police, multiple people on this site would be able to identify me if I committed a crime.
Think about it, you go and meet a profile with no photos, no info shown, nice and discreet. They recognize you and out you when you meet, or commit a crime against you. What recourse do you have? |

I dont know but recently I have seen more & more cpls an females relaxing and showing their faces especially those who have not showed their faces in the past. Maybe that just me I dunno.
I have face pics in my friends gallery but cant see myself ever going public with them. But there is definitely an increase in those who are... |
