Anyone worried about getting found out

So I have been on here for a we while now. However one of the big things stopping me getting properly into it is the thought that someone I know could spot me. I’m reluctant to add any more pics etc
Anyone else have this worry ? |

Initially I did yea. But if you do come across someone you know, they're using the site too.
Depending on your situation obviously, try to not let being 'found out' ruin your experience of the site |

More so thinking of career and other activities I do that this could be frowned upon etc. Although I do see the point of if they spot me then they must be on it also lol |

Ok, so you're in NI which is a small place.
Just don't go too local and you will be fine. As you become more confident in the site and so more confident, reduce your catch radius to smaller.
Never thought I would use the term "catch radius" on a fab post. |

Depends on your job. If you’re a nun or priest, things may get awkward if found out 
I assume the majority people who like the most discretion probably do so for personal reasons and not professional. Married, attached, kids etc. |

This.. However I was in my local lately and and a couple or friends were very quick to point out a localish couple who appeared on a trashy news paper article about swingers.. Their faces were disguised but it was clear it was them,Mortifying really and the talk of a small minded town until something else comes along  |

I have my face up on a regular basis. So what if someone finds out (happened a few times now)
I'm not a celebrity and I'm not doing anything morally wrong or illegal. People who judge you for who they think you are are generally judging you for their own mentality and actions. |

I couldn't care I'm sure ifthere here they signed up too what can they say they seen u on a site there on haha come on n most here would agree what goes in fab stays in fab n should be kept that way n anyone that drinks someone's personal life to public gallery should be ousted n chased down with pitch forks haha   |

You're on Fab, they're on Fab. But it is disconcerting when you're in a small town .. welcome to NI! Social hello's - not in the tiny local. Keep it out and about. And, good lord, close the windows if you wanna scream .. they'll still be asking about strange cars parked outside your house. Don't give them Live audio!! |

When your in work in a factory with about 100 employees and not in built up area,and you do search,who’s near on mobile at lunchtime and you always are finding a lady on the search list only a 2 minute walk from you.
Gets you thinking lol
It happens me most days

Don't really care if people reconise us. We've reconised quite a few people we know on here yet haven't mentioned it to anyone and hope it's the same when people reconise us. YOLO so why care what others think or say. Just wouldn't want people starting all the small talk then our kids finding out. |

Not technically... a mutual friend is on it and tells them and they raised it, so no they may not and heard through the grapevine.
The grapevine is far reaching especially in Ireland. |

God my kids would be mortified if they knew I was on this site.
The first day I joined here I blocked everyone living close by. It's a small enough town so not that many.

I like to be discreet I’ve a busy job and 2 kids so I’d rather my neighbors or friends didn’t know my business if some wants a face pic no problem at all,but not every is comfortable put public pic up,everybody has different reasons |

Small town, small country, all true! there is every posiblility there is people on here you might know from near by.
It is a worry for some professions I guess, Dr's, Garda etc. you just have to hope for the best.
I have sent a face pic once or twice and got a "OH I know you" followed by an instant block, now that is very uncomfortable . . . |

I’ve come across many I know from the real world and still happy to chat, as are they. It’s the ones who go out of their way to cause drama, make fake profiles & spread rumours I worry about. Especially if they’re going to go far enough as to try and find out personal information and find face pictures to expose you. I’ve had my real name posted on someone’s status by a fake profile that then just disappeared. |

We would be mortified if family or friends knew about our fab lifestyle so hopefully they don't lol. Discretion is very important to us but if we do happen to meet someone we know at least we will all be in the same situation, embarrassed but value each others privacy too. And it's cool knowing there are a few other like minded people around too |
