Am I the only person who finds this phenomenon puzzling? You log on to fab, check your messages and the first 10 or 20 are 'hey/hello/hi' variants from random guys all accompanied by at least one, but usually multiple kisses. I don't know these people... I haven't had a chance yet to look at their profile or reply to them, yet they're blowing me virtual kisses like they're a diva on the red carpet on Oscar night 
What's the thinking folks... Should I be swept away? Does 'I'd love to spaff on your tits babes' sound more appealing when followed by 'xx'?  |

I can't say I ever noticed it in your case, but it may be that you simply don't overuse it! Having a forum or mail rapport with someone, you will find yourself dropping the occasional x in sending messages (particularly in support of a particular stance or to emphasise agreement on a topic), and I do it myself at times where it feels warranted, but I don't think I would 'cold call' message someone I'd had no interaction with and include one... It would feel odd. |

I must of got the vaccination against bad grammar, spelling mistakes and overfamiliar messages before I set up this account or I’ve got over it all a long time ago. I never read too much into strangers messages anyway. Until you decide to make them more than that. |

Really don't see the harm in it. The content or lack of is probably a bigger issue. Lots of people just put them in out of habit and we are on a swing site after all where everyone hopes that X turns into a real one.
